Ade OlufekoVisual Collaborative — After consulting with some editors regarding content citing issues, decided to edit article submission to focus on Visual Collaborative, not Ade Olufeko. Jmilayo (talk) 02:04, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Do the current references on the article page such as this website serve as a good source of information about this platforms notability? JuneHazinek (talk) 12:45, 16 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • The website doesn't seem 100% reliable, due to what appears as some user generated content. The link that you specifically posted above is just a discussion on an art show. The website does have a publisher however, being the African Digital Art Network. I would definitely try to find some other sources to cite to support the article where this website is used. Hope this helps. Cheers, Comatmebro ~Come at me~ 01:40, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • The sources overall don't seem strong for notability and the example website is as Comatmebro, describes.Pincrete (talk) 16:24, 20 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

removal of improper content[edit]

a list of artists who exhibited at an event is generally excessive detail, unless they are actually famous. Such lists are found here only on promotional articles. If it's restored, that might indicate the need to resolve the no-consensus close by another afd. DGG ( talk ) 18:23, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Adé Olufeko[edit]

Per consensus of this AFD for the same page Ade Olufeko. Astha Talk 16:38, 13 November 2016 (UTC) I reviewed, Have three reasons to contest "Merge"[reply]

  1. Earlier Name "Ade Olufeko" was incorrect, so created a new article with correct name "Adé Olufeko"
  2. Contents improved with stronger supporting references. (Usatechnologist (talk) 16:45, 13 November 2016 (UTC)).[reply]
  3. Merging a "Biography" with an "Organization", both are entirely different subject.

Can you please guide me.

It is better if you can discuss with the involved editors. Pinging them: @CharlieEchoTango:, @Themfromspace:, @Thorncrag:, @Shearonink:, @Mnanonymous:. Thanks, Astha Talk 16:47, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Astha willim, et al, supporting view of Usatechnologist I see no reason to merge article based on old consensus. They are respectively two separate articles, the olufeko article has confirmed independent sources to stand as own page. -- Mnanonymous 03:19, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There were two reasons for earlier consensus to mere the article with Visual Collaborative
  1. Most of the References were citing Visual Collaborative (An Institute Founded by Adé Olufeko in 2006)
  2. There were not much independent references citing the contents of Adé Olufeko independently

Two major Changes been made

  1. Name of the Article corrected from "Ade Olufeko" to "Adé Olufeko"
  2. Independent References added (Earlier there were only 5) to support the subject, and to meet the "Notability" guideline

It would be a great help if you review the Article again, and review the merger of a "Living Biography" with an "Institute". Thank you.(Usatechnologist (talk) 13:58, 15 November 2016 (UTC))[reply]
