Location issue[edit]

As noted in the article, the NRIS-given address is on E. 160th Street, but the NRIS coordinates place it on E. 106th Street. Perhaps there is a typo in the address in NRIS? Searching in Google yields websites listing it at E. 160th Street, but those may all be private sites repackaging NRIS data, not providing any independent info. Where is this place located? doncram (talk) 02:11, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal[edit]

The article at St. Cecilia's Church (New York City) appears to cover the same topic as this article, and may have been created as an accidental duplicate. Since this is the older and more complete article, I propose it be the location of the merged target.- choster (talk) 19:42, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think from edit summaries that editor James Russiello both started the other article and may have by now merged over material from it. James, please feel free to close the merger proposal (remove the merger proposal tags and note some end to discussion here) and redirect the other article to here, if that is a resolution that you agree with. Thanks for adding to this article, too. --doncram 22:18, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of location section[edit]

I have removed the location section because it was simply silly. (1) the buildings were not constructed at the same time, (2) the address given depends on which buildings are included and on what date, (3) frequently church addresses are given as the mailing address, which is normally the rectory or church office.

The current address is 112-120 East 106th, that includes the church, the convent and all other buildings. Beyond My Ken (talk) 16:27, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
