Canary Islands[edit]

Okay, then we need the name of the organization this logo Image:Canaryislands.jpg goes to. Chris 18:33, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's the logo of the Scouts de Canarias, an ASDE sub-association [1] - and those groups with contacts to Western Sahara were members of MSC [2]. --jergen 13:57, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Canary Islands is not an external place of Spain, its part of the country and should treat equaly as any other region of Spain — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.22.41.69 (talk) 22:56, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

dispute removal of images[edit]

I dispute the removal of images from this article under reason 8 Significance. Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic-it's the same reason we put the coat-of-arms on each national article, or every coin in a series on national money pages-the images themselves tell a non-verbal story, about what the Scouts say about themselves. The emblems are every bit as important to the topic as anything else. That's the same reason we have heraldry, even today's corporate branding-the visual depiction that represents a group has all sorts of nested meanings that can't simply be physically described. Fair use rationale for Image:Spain SDE.svg[edit]

Image:Spain SDE.svg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Image copyright problem with Image:Spain FCEG.svg (done)[edit]

The image Image:Spain FCEG.svg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

The following images also have this problem:

Escoltes Catalans isn't interreligious[edit]

Hi all. I'm a member of E.C. and we isn't interreligious. We are "laic" (word without english translation), wich means that we doesn't work on religion themes, we don't have part in religion (like atheist, but respecting who want to belief), and, if a kid ask for it, we must explain him all the religions, without preferences. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.129.53.145 (talk) 21:19, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
