Text and/or other creative content from this version of New York Raiders (WHA) was copied or moved into San Diego Mariners with this edit. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

You really should have posted that you were going to merge articles. Because the hockey project has a standard that we keep separate articles for teams that move cities. I am going to have to unmerge all this now. -DJSasso (talk) 10:36, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that, I did have a look around and saw that the New Jersey Knights period of this franchise was merged with the New York Raiders and New York Golden Blades and as there wasn't too much activity on the article I thought someone may have missed merging all that into the Mariners.

I've got a requested move for the NY Raiders page, now that it isn't a redirect I'll add a note to that talk page. LunarLander // talk // 15:22, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, I figured as much. The reason the other versions are on one page is that they are all in the same location and were simply name changes. Except perhaps the Jersey version. I think that one is merged in because they only played part of one season in that location.
