Numbers[edit]

What does the "Official order of presidence" in the table really refer to? As far as I know, Swedish PMs are never numbered in the way for instance US presidents are being numbered (this is primarily a US phenomenon). I suggest that the numbers are removed from the table and from the articles of each PM. This was also discussed at Swedish Wikipedia with the same outcome. /Slarre 17:06, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I've now removed the numbers from the table. I also removed the small portrait images, since several prime ministers didn't have such images and some of those who had were not suitable for such a low resolution. If the table should contain images then there should at least be good high quality portraits for everyone of them (and of course only such images that are free use). /Slarre (talk) 23:15, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Andersson was not "elected" in the standard sense[edit]

In English, if someone reads "Andersson was elected" they will assume it means in a general election. It should be changed to say elected by the parliament or should be taken out entirely. 2A02:8388:8700:DA00:149E:69CC:D112:39AB (talk) 12:23, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Strictly speaking, she wasn't elected. That is a minor point however, the main point is that she was the first female PM and I changed the article accordingly. Sjö (talk) 18:53, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

List[edit]

In December we had an RfC concerning "Wikipedia's lists of holders of political offices". The RfC concluded with the consensus that "lists of political officeholders" should not contain lists of living former officeholders. This argument is unsubstantiated. Nowhere in the RfC question (written by me) or in the conclusion (by Rotary Engine) does it say "list articles" or "list pages". It just says "lists"; and a section titled "List of prime ministers" is, need I say this, a list. It is clear as day that this is exactly the sort of content discussed in the RfC.
