Boldface[edit]

I disagree with your argument that boldness is unnecessary, in an article like this, knowing who the president was is a key piece of information in the opening sentence, and it is appropriate for it to be in bold, there's a reason names are in bold for countless articles about pretty much any person. I also think that the wording that is being used is actually worse than the former wording (that is still used for the first 27 presidents), but i would like an RFC for that purpose on a presidency article to decide that matter.Lawrence 979 (talk) 17:34, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The reader knows who the president was by reading the first three words of the article. Boldface does not help that at all. In fact, MOS:BOLDLINKAVOID suggests that links and boldface should not be mixed. This article is not about a person but about a presidency; boldface is neither required nor particularly helpful. With these "Presidency of Name" (IMHO should be called "Name Administration") articles. I'm in agreement with Surtsicna, concerning the openings. Let's be honest, a bold "presidency of..." intro, does have an odd appearance. GoodDay (talk) 19:20, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Brief bio section[edit]

I think it would be good to have a brief bio section, like one paragraph. Titled "Background" or "Brief life history" Any comments or objections? Cmguy777 (talk) 20:22, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
