Censure by House of Representatives Missing[edit]

On January 3, 1848 the House of Representatives passed an amendment censuring President Polk for 'unnecessarily and unconstitutionally' beginning the Mexican war.

Why isn't this historical fact part of this article (as opposed to being buried in a footnote regarding events two years prior)? Or, the article on Polk? In my opinion it belongs in both places. Opinions? Contributor tom (talk) 05:05, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
