The biggest problem is that it is useless. It does not explain anything. I bet it was easy to create, and some Wikipedia editor probably displays it proudly on his user page, as part of a list of articles he has created from scratch. Isn't he good. The list does not distinguish between real-life politics and fictional politics; it does not distinguish between works that are about politicians, and those that are about people who are caught up in politics; it does not distinguish between works that are about High Politics (i.e. "Yes Minister", "Mr Smith Goes to Washington") and those that merely use politics as a backdrop ("The Dead Zone", "Murder at 1600", "Three Kings"). Agree with much of this sentiment. I suggest that it could be improved by grouping by politics (e.g location/period in history), rather than media.--JBellis (talk) 17:32, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the rename. Any "introductory discussion" can be found on the Political fiction page
