The correct translation of "Vaterländische" is "Patriotic", not "Fatherland", as it's an adjective not a noun. "Patriotic Union" is also the WP:COMMONNAME - see Google books (1,080 hits for Patriotic and 668 for Fatherland). Number 5 7 11:15, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No. Do you have a source, that people more use "patriotic union" than "Fatherland Union"? The term "patriotic" comes from latin term "patria" which means "Fatherland". One who does not know latin, does not understand this. While "Fatherland" is understood by everyone. And I remember, that the article's name was already some years ago also "Fatherland Front" or so. "Patriotic" has an own german word ("patriotisch"), so the more correct and more understandable translation of "Vaterländisch" would be "Fatherland('s)", also for the political party. --TheHeroWolf (talk) 17:05, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
