Medal record[edit]

The Hlinka Memorial Tournament is not an official IIHF tournament, therefore I don't think his Gold from that should go in the info box. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.233.107.169 (talk) 13:59, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi 82.233, There is certainly a level of merit to that suggestion, however we have routinely included the Ivan Hlinka tournament in the medal boxes. The U17 Challenge as well. As such, this is a discussion that really should be held on a project-wide basis rather than focusing on this individual article. If you like, please feel free to begin a discussion at WT:HOCKEY to propose a change across the hockey project. Thanks, Resolute 15:46, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Really that box is for any notable tournament with a medal. It is not exclusive to IIHF events. -DJSasso (talk) 16:46, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
