  • There are images in the article which are in the public domain. Perhaps they were not offered here because of the subject matter. A very good article, I have lost myself writing a few of these terrible stories. PS I found an archive link of the paywalled NYT article. I also added Brooks to the terrible list of lynchings in the US. I have provided the QPQ. The article is new enough and long enough. The article uses the correct inline citations and is neutral. The article is free of copyright violations. Hooks ALT0 and ALT1 are cited and interesting and appear in the article. ALT2 I cannot find in our article. • Thank you very much for the review Bruxton. For ALT2, "thousands present" is cited in "The mob's size was estimated to be 2,000-6,000 people". The second part was intended to be cited by "An investigation undertaken by Dallas authorities never named any members of the mob.", but that is not exactly the same thing. A lot of other sources allude but do not explicitly state the same thing. I've added a couple sources hopefully clarifying, especially one from the Equal Justice Initiative which states that no one was ever held responsible for the lynching of Allen Brooks. I didn't include the image because I don't think it renders well at a small size, and it is a graphic image. Let me know if these responses help. Eddie891 Talk Work 00:54, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That works. Thanks for the article! It is an important one. Bruxton (talk) 01:53, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
