Death[edit]

@Rockchalk717: As a reminder, the onus is on those seeking to include content to achieve consensus for it, and that has not happened here. The mere existence of sources stating something does not mandate inclusion. Nikkimaria (talk) 00:35, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Nikkimaria: I had this same issue with you at Adam Schlesinger and the end result was leaving it in the article. This is the EXACT SAME situation. However, unlike Schlesinger, Luke Bell was barely notable enough for an article before his death. A google news search of his name and quite of bit of scrolling later shows exactly 4 articles (talking about this Luke Bell anyway) from before his death while the rest are from after his death. You fought me with Schlesinger when I used this same evidence. It's not the "mere existence" of sources that issue. It's the lack of evidence of sources indicating any sort of substantial notability from before his death (as is evident with the lack of reliable sources about him from before his death) and the overwhelming amount of reliable sources from after his death. And again, as I said on Schlesinger's talkpage, a single objection and no evidence of more notability from before the death is not a consensus for exclusion. Not to mention (again) you have already changed what your issue is 3 times with this and I am already getting flashbacks to our discussion on this same issue and I would prefer not to go round and round with you again and you constantly changing what your issue is. I've given you your evidence now leave it in the article and don't all of the sudden change what your objection is now that I've (yet again) disproven your objection.--Rockchalk717 00:50, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Again, consensus is required for inclusion rather than exclusion. And there is substantial evidence of notability from before his death - some quick samples: [1][2][3][4][5][6][7] and plenty more. So essentially what you've "proven" is that your argument is based on faulty searching. Nikkimaria (talk) 01:44, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As it's been a few days and no evidence supporting inclusion seems to be forthcoming, I've re-removed the disputed content. Please don't restore it unless/until consensus is achieved for its inclusion - perhaps try an RfC to get additional perspectives. Nikkimaria (talk) 01:30, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
