  • ... that in 1852 Ludwig Grass (pictured) donated 20,000 guilders to build the first state secondary school in Liechtenstein?

    • Comment: Image is far from necessary, so feel free to disregard the notion of placing it with the hook if there's a better one to be placed instead. The second hook was suggested to me as an alternative.

  • OK, the article is fine--long enough, new enough, no plagiarism, etc. My problem is with the hook. ALT1 is kind of funny, but also a bit misleading. "People left Liechtenstei"n is a bit dramatic, and "for secondary schools" is ambiguous; "for secondary schooling" would be better. But who knows, maybe there was a high school right across the border in Austria or Switzerland? Anyway, that's a thing. "Had to go across the border to attend high school" or something like that, that might work, but then, your source doesn't actually say that--it says there wasn't secondary schooling until he etc. For another thing, I think this needs a year, for clarity, and it needs something on Liechtenstein--perhaps a link, in violation of MOS:OVERLINK, but so few people actually know where and what it is, or some short note. Please consider that, User:TheBritinator. Thanks for writing it up, Drmies (talk) 22:08, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    • Thanks for the review Drmies. The ALT1 hook was suggested to me by another user. Personally, I am more in favour of the first one due to its simplicity, but I added both since they could both potentially work. If a date would make it more clear, then the first could be modified to "...that in 1852, Ludwig Grass (pictured) donated 20,000 guilders to build the first state secondary school in Liechtenstein?". That may also be considered. TheBritinator (talk) 01:37, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
      • Sure thing TheBritinator. Please, tweak that first hook in that way--it's uncontroversial, but if I do it someone is going to complain. Ping me when you're done. Drmies (talk) 15:15, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
