I love that there was no room on the cartridge for a luggage train! Skycap is unfamiliar. Even though there's a wikilink, would it be appropriate to say "skycap porter" or something? Featured articles are chosen purely for how well they cover their topic, not for how interesting the topic is. It is a bit weird to see such random stuff featured though. --74.128.224.174 (talk) 22:51, 8 March 2015 (UTC)

Bankruptcy paragraph

I recently made a bold move to shift the bankruptcy paragraph from "Reception" to "Development" over at Space Cavern and only after my edit did I notice the discussion in talk, so this time I'll start the discussion here instead of moving it right away.

Basically my thoughts are these: The bankruptcy is an important event in the history of Games by Apollo, but as far as I can see it has little to do with the games. If the bankruptcy is to be presented in the "reception" section then we would need to provide some kind of an explanation for readers who would otherwise find its placement jarring. For example if the game didn't sell as well as anticipated and this led to bankruptcy then "Reception" might be a good home for it because sales are an element of reception. Placing this information in the "Development" section would itself require some kind of an explanatory transition. For example in this edit I added the transitional phrase: "As development neared completion, mounting financial pressures came to a head and..." to make it clear to readers that the information was being presented in the context of advertising costs incurred during development. Whereas the fact that development costs money is common sense, the fact that sales were insufficient to secure financial solvency for the company would require a reliable source. I would thus recommend shifting the info into "Development" here too. Any thoughts?

Finally it should be noted that the listed source (Billboard) claims that the total debt was around $5 million, half of which ($2.5 million) was owed to Benton & Bowles. So at the very least the figures need to be adjusted. -Thibbs (talk) 14:15, 13 July 2015 (UTC)

I think it makes sense to move the bankruptcy paragraph to Development. I'd start with info on the game's release and transition into the paragraph about the company's fate. – czar 15:05, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
