Guinea's name

Guinea's full name in the early 1980s was Revolutionary People's Republic of Guinea, not Republic of Guinea (the latter name was chosen later). Does anyone know the exact dates of the name change? Josh (talk) 18:41, 27 July 2021 (UTC)

Disputed

Palestine is not a sovereign state and many references indicate this. The entry should be deleted from this article, but until then the disputed/no source tags are appropriate. This is currently under discussion on the Dispute Resolution board. 99.237.236.218 (talk) 14:57, 9 May 2012 (UTC)

Tense

Why is this written in past tense: "Argentina was a federation of 22 provinces and two federal territories"; "Canada was a federation of ten provinces and two territories"; etc. Each entry is written this way, although I don't want to bother changing it if there's a logical explanation. freshacconci talk to me 18:53, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
