On existence of the "North Community Library": [3]. This talks about the organization currently residing in the North Library building:^[1] See also this, which just talks about staff wanting the library to close (not specific dates).

In my search to find a good reference about the 1990s renovations of Washburn, I found [5], [6], and [7]. Also [8] on Edina.
