A fact from Life of Pi (film) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 13 June 2011 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
The Cast section lists "Mythili Prakash as Anandi, adult, Pi's wife." It also lists the actors portraying "Pi's and Anandi's son" and "Pi's and Anandi's daughter," respectively. The problem is, I can find no evidence in the film or elsewhere that the woman Pi married was the same girl he dated as a teenager. His wife is not named in the dialogue of the film, nor in the end credits (where she's simply "Pi's wife); IMDb also lists her as "Pi's wife." While it would be a romantic outcome for him to have married his childhood love, it appears unsupported. If anyone is aware of a reliable source that identifies Pi's wife as Anandi, please provide it. Otherwise, it appears to be an assumption or wishful thinking on the part of a previous editor, and I will soon correct the error. DoctorEric (talk) 20:52, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
