Olympics[edit]

I noticed him on the ice. Apparently he was the Canadian "Team Advisor". [1] Considering Canada won Gold, surely that is worth a mention. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.49.105.107 (talk) 22:55, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Weasel Words[edit]

The phrase "[h]e is generally considered one of the best general managers in the NHL today" falls into the weasel words category. The phrase should be reworded with a citation or removed.Rejectwater (talk) 15:09, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think that entire second paragraph can be removed. It cites names that might otherwise be meaningless to those outside of Red Wings fandom or even general hockey fandom. Crimson667 (talk) 18:38, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Categorization[edit]

He is currently categorized as a Detroit Red Wings player. Wouldn't it make more sense to have him categorized under Detroit Red Wings instead, as he is far more well known as a GM than a player? Or can he be listed under both? Rejectwater (talk) 23:49, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Qualifications/Citations[edit]

there seems to be back and forth re form of citation & included qualifications for Holland - both from registered users and from anonymous IP addresses. The most recent (before reversion) edit included info re Holland's President's Cup. I've reverted that edit - simply b/c i don't understand why that's not an appropriate edit. If there are concerns re what's included and who citations are offered, let's discuss them. as always, it's helpful when people have accounts. GLG GLG (talk) 07:17, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

i added something about the president's trophies from the cited article and someone reverted it for no reason. smh 99.231.223.73 (talk) 20:58, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
