Marriages[edit]

She's been married at least twice. "Kay says she is currently single following her marriages to journalist Steve Burley and football agent Steve Kutner."

Controversies section[edit]

There is a controversies section which is tagged as potentially compromising the neutrality of the article.

The source for the "eastern seaboard" claim from 2001 is broken. This story is disputed https://metro.co.uk/2010/09/13/kay-burley-i-was-surprised-to-see-peter-andre-cry-510520/ https://www.pressgazette.co.uk/if-i-didnt-have-skin-rhino-i-might-be-offended-why-kay-burley-wont-let-trolls-bring-her-down/

Including a story about her tweeting a picture of a sad dog is simply laughable, I'm sorry but nobody can consider that encyclopedic or having any lasting relevance at all.

A blip in an interview in which the interviewer says something which is not accurate is not a controversy like an interviewer being offensive or lying.

But sure, undo me removing these stories, with no edit summary.

I've done my part of the WP:BRD. Unknown Temptation (talk) 22:33, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I added the controversy section tag, because WP:CSECTION says that this is not good writing style. It's interesting that when asked about the eastern seaboard quote in the Metro article, she said "Don’t believe everything you read on Wikipedia, it also said I breastfed live on air." In the Press Gazette interview, she says "I would like to see where that quote is, wouldn’t you? I think that’s what you call an urban myth." As for the seaboard quote, this is in the article because reliable sources reported her as saying it, eg here in The Independent on 28 December 2001. I don't know if she did say this, but if it is wrong it isn't Wikipedia's fault as long as the mainstream media got it wrong first. Short of finding a YouTube clip where she says it (which I can't find), it's hard to say with 100% certainty whether she did or didn't say it.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 16:31, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: It was vandalism that was removed. Thanks, Terasail[✉️] 12:42, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

We seem to have gone from one pretty dreadful image to another. But there isn't much to choose from on Commons. ♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 20:23, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
