Age[edit]

Reliable sources are reporting her age as both 40 and 43. Not sure which one we should go with, but websites about the porn industry (AVN for example) are putting her age at 40. A younger conflicting age is usually suspect due to Hollywood and porn valley's tendency to discriminate against the older. However, in this case, this conflict happened after death so the motivation to go younger is not there. The question then is the reliability of sources that say 43 versus 40. That was my first thought as well. But her death was first reported by TMZ which said she was 43 years old, and nearly all of the other articles are citing TMZ, which makes me think they're also using the age as reported by TMZ. Websites which cover the porn industry, like AVN, put her age at 40, and this tweet says the coroner's office has confirmed she was 40 years old. So it seems 40 is the correct age. I just posted something about this on the talk page. It said 1979 before she died but a lot of news websites are saying she died at 43, so someone changed her date of birth to 1976. Not sure why some of the articles are saying she was 43, but websites about the adult industry say she was 40, and also this tweet from BNO News says the coroner's office confirmed her age as 40: https://twitter.com/BNODesk/status/1174396116072370177. I agree. The problem is that some people keep swooping in and change her age without discussing here why it should be one over the other. It's mainly articles reciting TMZ which put her age at 43, the ones which use official sources put her age at 40. Her online profiles on companies she worked with also say 40. News outlets get their information from the coroner's office which deals with official documents such as birth and death certificates and driver's licenses and state I.D. That woman was 43. Initial news reports are often unreliable. I've explained in other comments on this page why I'm convinced that Jaymes was 40 years old, along with multiple reliable sources which confirm this.
