Full Circle - Walter Trout's first studio album of new material since 2001's Go the Distance. Not only has the hotshot guitarist worked and maintained friendships with these players, but they convened in the same studio at the same time to nail these tunes. Not surprisingly, the vast majority of Trout's friends are guitarists who - like him - prefer to charge through songs with the intensity of a salmon swimming upstream. No idea how a guitar is held?

I find it a bit hard to believe that two people living in Canada should have "no idea" how a guitar is held. Would be good to check up on this. Icemuon 10:38, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

I don't think that is the problem - Icemuon means it is strange that his parents did not know how to hold a guitar the "proper" way. He could still have learned to play the way he does, if he had attempted to learn it the proper way first. Adam Bishop 08:28, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Early radio appearances

Jeff appeared from the age of 14 on the CBC radio program "Fresh Air" with hosts Bill McNeil http://www.worldofradio.com/dxld3018.txt and Cy Strange http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cy_Strange. http://www.cityofkingston.ca/cityhall/press/release.asp?mode=show&id=2126 He demonstrated an encyclopedic knowledge of jazz from a certain era. Acting Career?

I am curious as to why there is little to no mention of Jeff's performance in the movie 'Road House', which was the first time I had heard his music. If I recall, there were several scenes where he had lines.

Live at Healey's

The Very Best of

Survived by

The phrase "is survived by" reflects the contemporaneous nature of an obituary, which has a publication date. For an encyclopedia article or any biography that is for posterity or written after the fact, survivors should be introduced by the phrase "was survived by". Here is a recent obituary that, due to its publication many years after the death of the subject, takes pains to avoid the phrase "is survived by".
