Article for deletion[edit]

This article has been around in many guises. It has always been deleted because the content is either plagiarised from other articles (like Malta, History of Malta, Culture of Malta or even Italian irredentism), irrelavant or unsourced (and untrue). Not to mention the lack of a logical and chronological sequence.

Most of the time it also mistakes the Maltese language question (a cultural matter) for irredentism (a territorial matter). Most pre-War Italophile Maltese wanted their country to be made part of Italy as much as Quebecois today would want their province to become part of France.

OK, I've reduced the article in a way that's more intelligible. The long and unnecessary history prior to 1814 has been reduced in order that it serve only as context. The period between the 1814 and the Fascist era has been re-dimensioned to refer to the British cultural engineering of the time. Finally, for the Fascist era I have kept in mind that this is Italian irredentism in Malta rather than on Malta.

The article was created by sockpuppets of banned User:Brunodam, but can't be speedily deleted under WP:CSD#G5 because of a lot of intervening history. OTOH if you (Demdem) wish to revoke your edits in favor of deletion, that would be a good place to start an AfD. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 12:59, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Joy is a Croatian nationalist who feels hate toward Italian irredentism: Wikipedia should be free and impartial.....and document all the data & information on a matter, without nationalistic hate like the one of Joy and Demdem!!!....B. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.134.155.221 (talk) 12:31, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fanatism of Demdem[edit]

From a user about the fanatism of Demdem, who hates maltese italians (and has forced one of them to retire from wikipedia....): Too much time you spend with one subject - Malta. History shows that it is unhealthy and leads to abnormal behavior (inability to neutral perceive in this topic). Get some rest, fanatic Demdem. Subtropical-man (talk) Wikipedia should be neutral!!!
