Picture[edit]

someone pls change the pic. he looks different now then what he looked like then. the hairstyle has also changed. as is PM he will get an official potrait soon. can replace with that one AniqrSufyan9Chancellor2 (talk) 23:19, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox picture[edit]

For a possible infobox picture, there's File:DSIS2.jpg on Commons. It looks professional and is uploaded as own work by a new user without any other contributions, but it includes metadata. Thoughts on licensing? Courtesy ping Amakuru, who removed the prior image. @Sdkb: My inclination is that the new image is not suitable either, it seems to be present on the internet in lots of places including Malaysia government sites, and looks very official, as did the earlier one.  — Amakuru (talk) 21:38, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Sdkb: I have found the same image used on a flyer by Sabri many months before it was uploaded to Commons: [1] I've therefore nominated it for deletion and removed it from the article. Cheers  — Amakuru (talk) 11:07, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It was my mistake as I did not look carefully at the name of who uploaded that image. I think FileDSIS2.jpg looks suspicious as well, despite it having metadata and existing on Wikimedia for 6 years now. Lochglasgowstrathyre (talk) 13:35, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Sdkb and Lochglasgowstrathyre: just a heads up that I've had to remove the DSIS image around 3 times already today. It seems like a clear copyright violation given that I've found it used elsewhere, but it would be good to have some corroboration for this.
