Early Life[edit]

Hwasa shared in a radio show VIXX N K-pop program that she was an actress in a few musicals as primary student before being a singer. Her parents were against the idea of her going to be a singer and after watching her on her musical they gave her their permission. One of her musical's role was Pat-jwi(팥쥐) -the Korean version for Cinderella which almost became her stage name. Wikipedia generally prefers reliable secondary sources rather than primary sources. Primary sources are harder to be independent. That being said, these facts are pretty trivial and don't seem to be all that notable. Had she more of a presence in stage musicals in her career, this could provide some background context. Article name[edit]

Hwasa's stage name is currently Hwa Sa, not Hwasa.[1] HoneyKpop (talk) 15:46, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@HoneyKpop Name should match the article title hence don't change the article content however you like. Current title is per WP:COMMONNAME. Furthermore, her personal preferences is still Hwasa instead of Hwa Sa per [2] regardless the former is still the common name per various reliable sources like NME, Vogue, Korea Times, Korea JoongAng Daily, etc. If you disagreed then you're free to start Requested Move discussion (instructions here), of course provided you have secondary reliable sources in the form of news articles to back it up that Hwa Sa is WP:COMMONNAME instead of Hwasa. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 16:01, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
