Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 21:04, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
More specifically, this is not adequate sourcing. Massivelyop is not current recognized as a reliable source, and this was an off record discussion years ago at PAX. I cannot find any coverage from anywhere else, and Guild War 2's site still lists NCSoft in all copyright/trademark notices, and in many of the legal pages. We need a much more solid source. -- ferret (talk) 21:08, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dropped MacOS Support[edit]

As of February 19th 2021, the MacOS client is discontinued and no longer gives access to the game (Login is possible, but the PLAY button is gone).

Should MacOS be removed from the supported platform list ? 90.92.152.27 (talk) 16:51, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • What I think should be changed: The information about the game having over 16 million accounts by August 2021 should be added.
  • Why it should be changed: Last relevant info about the game's population is from August 2015.
  • References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button): [1]

I'm collating feedback on what needs changing on this article on the GW2W itself (see the Community portal). Another user identified a fact about the Mac OS client (now discontinued) that needs including too, and I suspect there's more than just that to update. -Chieftain Alex 20:25, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Wikipedia is written based on reliable sources. User generated content (such as forums) is not a "reliable source". The number of accounts should be based on independent sources and not merely releases from the game's website (both to establish significance and to avoid any issue of promotion). • What I think should be changed: Information in "3.4 End of Dragons Expansion" should be updated from the future tense to the present/past tense. Phrases like "yet to be revealed mastery types" are no longer accurate as the mastery types are known, and they include include jade bots, siege turtle, and Arborstone revitalization.
  • Why it should be changed: The information in this section was added before the release of the End of Dragons Expansion, and is now innaccurate.
  • References supporting the possible change: This source is already referenced, but the information taken from it has been updated on the site. [1] and this source goes more in-depth on the available masteries [2]

You probably meant "gamer" without the R, or "grammar" with two A's. Either way, your browser's spell-checker would highlight that word as an error. 27.33.176.117 (talk) 05:19, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The page currently says:

As the game is set 250 years after its predecessor, players are unable to carry over their characters, there are however a small number

however a comma is unable to join two sentences. Please fix the second comma to this:

As the game is set 250 years after its predecessor, players are unable to carry over their characters. There are, however, a small number

Thanks. 27.33.176.117 (talk) 05:19, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The original Living World Season 1 started on January 28, 2013 and not on November 15, 2013. Maybe that was an edit mistake. TGMChrist1 (talk) 16:47, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Change the second occurrence of "Chapter 3: Balance" to "Chapter 4: Judgment"

More details: In section "Chronological release timeline" -> "The Icebrood Saga (Living World Season 5)" -> "S5E5: Champions" there a duplicate: "Chapter 3: Balance" appears twice. I believe the latter occurence should be changed to "Chapter 4: Judgment", which is the official name for this release. The release date is correct.
