Chancellor or Foreign Minister?[edit]

I noticed this was recently moved from Chancellor of Bolivia to Foreign Minister of Bolivia. The reasoning was that Chancellor in English is not usually used in the sense of Foreign Minister. However, the official title in Bolivia is Chancellor "Canciller" not Foreign Minister. However, the Chancellary webiste (https://www.cancilleria.gob.bo/webmre/) does also use Minister of Foreign Affairs. If confusion in English is deemed worthy enough for it not to be changed back to Chancellor, I recommend Minister of Foreign Affairs be used instead. Overall, it isn't the biggest issue. I have taken the liberty of changing all pages which use the title "Chancellor" to instead use "Foreign Minister" just in case the decision stays. Where do you get the idea that it is the official title? This does not look like it. And even if canciller were official, that still would not mean that it can be translated to chancellor in English. Just like the Spanish head of government is called presidente (del gobierno) in Spanish, in English he is invariably called prime minister. Mewulwe (talk) 08:32, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Aside from the official website literally being called "Chancellery", from my experience living in Bolivia they are mostly referred to as Canciller. However, I have seen Canciller translated to Foreign Minister so, as I stated before, it's not the largest issue just a question. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 16:28, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
