Europe, or Orange County? Make your mind! ~~ArquiWHAT~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by ArquiWHAT (talkcontribs) 13:07, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm having a hard time believing Eva Angelina is to any degree Asian 'blooded'... I just don't see it. Is this a marketing trick of her to qualify for Asian movies or what? Comment by Prikker — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.26.41.12 (talk) 11:52, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

its not a marketing ploy. She has like 1/32 or 1/64 asian ancestory. Many people will list their ethnicities upto 1/64 or 1/128 before people will find it ridicously. Take Casper Van Dien some of his ancestry he claims is 1/512. Tj21 (talk) 03:40, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's no 'marketing trick' at all. To even suggest that it is odd. Especially to submit that it would be a ploy to have her star in Asian themed movies. In Adult entertainment they hardly abide by rules of lineage. Simply put, Eva's background does have several different elements, but Chinese and Cuban are the most prominent whether, by your interpretation, they show or not. She's not retired according to her site. She actually has pics shot a couple of days ago there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.130.6.234 (talk) 22:51, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

MySpace Account Update[edit]

Please note: having just (within the last ten minutes) tested the link to MySpace, I received a notice that the account referenced has been deleted. I'll let this sit like this for 48 to 96 hours before I delete the information myself ... just in case someone wants to archive the data. F117-A 11:08, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Further Note: As of today, I have returned to the page to make the above-mentioned edit, and found that the reference to MySpace has already been removed. Thank you. F117-A 12:23, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another tattoo?[edit]

If you look at the picture on her Wiki page, you cans ee the shape of a heart on her left breast. Add that in? --Scorpios 22:22, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done(Trampton 01:40, 15 March 2007 (UTC)).[reply]

Don't add that in take it out. That shape of a heart is not a tattoo. It is a tan line. Girls do it all the time when they are tanning. They put something the shape of a heart (or sometimes use sunblock) on their body while they are tanning. It is not a tattoo. It is not permanent. She can just tan over it, whenever she wants to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.136.194.121 (talk) 16:42, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the newest "headline" photo of Eva at the AVN awards this year, that tan line (which she renewed pretty much constantly) is now darker than her skin, instead of lighter, as it would be if it were still a tan line. She either really got a tattoo, she burned/branded herself while tanning (people use jewelry to do such things; a "floating heart" pendant would be convenient, and would leave a scar if it sat too long and got branding-iron hot ... ever see a welt on a lady's body from a metal clasp on a bikini?), or possibly something REALLY drastic. But I'll wager next month's paycheck against a stale jelly doughnut that the mark we see on her left front in the AVN 2010 picture is NOT a tan line. Pregnancy and Blog[edit]

Eva confirms her pregnancy on her blog For Those Who Have No Idea What Has Been Going On in the World of EVA, 7/28 also a recommended link for her, is her new blog Eva's Blog Gkleinman (talk) 06:48, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It says she is married to two different people, one at the top and one at the bottom.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.16.104.211 (talk) 05:22, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I attended Eva's wedding in Dec. 2007. Eva is and has only been married to Danny Mountain. Also, I deleted an unsubstantiated rumor of a miscarriage to another performer. It cited no references and was gossipy at best. MonstarXXX (talk) 08:13, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First Name Gaffe?[edit]

In her very first scene in Shane's World: College Invasion 2, Angelina accidentally gives out what seems like her real first name to Mr. Pete, instead of the name, Angelina Del Mar, she obviously intended to use for the film. Is this an unknown slip-up, or is Wikipedia simply being conscientious, as this is the Biography of a Living Person? 71.233.230.223 (talk) 09:21, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would venture to guess that nobody here knew about it. I've never seen the film. Though, it's not exactly a reliable source for her real name. It could have been a name that she was thinking of going with but decided not to. If it was her first scene, she may have been nervous and also been up late the night before wondering what stage name she was going to go by. Who knows? edit[edit]

I removed the sentence which read "Eva Angelina does not exist." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.134.241.99 (talk) 07:28, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Glasses[edit]

The section on her glasses seems internally inconsistent. She says she was sent home to get her glasses if she forgot them, but then adds that they are prescription, as she is "very blind." I suppose she could wear contacts to the set and then take them out and wear her glasses during the scene, but that's not at all clear from the way this reads now. No idea what the real story is, and I'm probably the only one who cares, but thought I'd see what others think. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.108.141.159 (talk) 22:41, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's mentioned as it's part of her trademark look. And we can't mention the supposition you're making as it would count as original research. Tabercil (talk) 14:32, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Twitter[edit]

I have remove twitter references per wp:v if the account is dead and no longer verifiable then they fail wp:rs and wp:v find new sources and do not use these again in a BLP, thanks mark nutley (talk) 09:11, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

They fell under the SELFPUB exception and WP:LINKROT and WP:V say that they don't go away simply because the links go dead. Best to just leave the original links and quotes along with the deadlink template. I had independently verified the assertions when it was first inserted by another editor. Actually I went and found the link to the specific posts since the original insertion had just generally cited to her main twitter link. Morbidthoughts (talk) 21:39, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry no. they are not verifiable and fail wp:rs do not use them again mark nutley (talk) 22:05, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
They do seem to pass WP:V and WP:RS in my opinion, for the reasons already explained. Epbr123 (talk) 22:11, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well I found an alternate source for the information and slapped that in the article, but I do agree with Morbid in that the Twitter account information should be preserved. We know it was indeed her account - that information is verified here by someone who has regular contacts with these various pornstars. And yes, I do count her as reliable. Tabercil (talk) 22:13, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict)

No they do not as they can`t be verified. I have also just remove another self published source from this BLP [2] .lukeisback.com are you guys taking the piss? stop using SPS in s BLP mark nutley (talk) 22:15, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The links can be verified when they are eventually archived. Readers don't have to be able to verify info immediately, hence why we allow (and prefer) books as sources. Epbr123 (talk) 22:21, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay Mark, then how you suggest we verify that she has left porn? And that she is pregnant?? As for lukeisback, that's run by a different person altogether now than before. Tabercil (talk) 22:34, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict)

You are working on the assumption that they will be archived. Until such a time as they are they fail WP:V end of story, should you use these refs again you will be breakingwp:blp guidelines ok i do not care how you verify it, look at a porn mag or something i know sweet fa about porn, BTW i did a gogle of this name she is not pregnent she has had a baby, look for better sources mark nutley (talk) 22:41, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What source(s) did you find on googling? She had a baby in 2008 - we already have that in the article. It's the 2010 one we're backing up... Tabercil (talk) 22:48, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • - Claims are unsupported and users should move on from attempting to add them with these worthless twitter claims. Subjects leave porn, that is encyclopedic and educational value zero, please stop attempting to add this fabulous and much needed content with stale valueless twitter dead links.Off2riorob (talk) 22:43, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • If the article implies she is still working as a porn star, when we have a reliable source she's retired, that's arguably a BLP violation. Epbr123 (talk) 22:52, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There is no reliable source for that and it is also of little to zero importance to insist on citing it to a valueless cite. Off2riorob (talk) 22:57, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The reliable source did exist before it went dead. Isn't violating WP:BLP worse than violating WP:V? Epbr123 (talk) 23:10, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I find the fact that you are an administrator additionally troublesome in your support of these cites. Off2riorob (talk) 23:15, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I find an overly strict interpretation of WP:V, at the expense of WP:BLP, troublesome. Epbr123 (talk) 23:26, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well that up to you. Policy restricts your desire to use these dead twitter links. Off2riorob (talk) 23:33, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know of a policy that restricts the use of dead links, especially at the expense of WP:BLP, but we'll have to agree to differ. Epbr123 (talk) 00:07, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
BLP clearly supports my position,, if you were looking for a quality publication to use as a citation and all you had was a dead unarchived twitter claim I would think you could do a lot better. Off2riorob (talk) 00:27, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And just to chime in, I'm full agreement with Epbr: we had a source that at the time met the requirements of RS and V. Just because it's dead doesn't mean we still can't use it. (And I am in the process of trying to locate a fresh one). Tabercil (talk) 00:42, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • I agree with the three other editors who have asserted, correctly IMHO, that the fact that a link goes dead does not strip it of its function in satisfying wp's reliability and verifiability requirements.--Epeefleche (talk) 03:44, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Retired?[edit]

The information, she has retired from porn (when and who declared it by what competence?), is very indirect: "Director Joshua told AVN that while the first edition was focused on the now-retired Eva Angelina..." Not more is mentioned and this is absolutly no reliable note of retirement!

Actually there are at least 2 films listed by IAFD with her with published dates of production in 2011: Popular Demand (D.O.P.: 02/Apr/2011) and In the VIP 5 (D.O.P.: 01/11/2011). I have not checked films of 2010, if they are produced after the date of publishing of the cited source (Sep/15/2010). Sorry, I have not set links to proof my claims because they direct to explicit websites but it can get confirmed at IAFD of the films and on their attached review sites. CBa--89.0.5.80 (talk) 09:50, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The problem was the original retirement info was sourced to lukeisback.com - that got knocked out as being deemed unreliable. Then it was sourced to her Flickr stream but that account disappeared. So we ended up using that AVN article. Sucks but that's life... As for her "return", porn films can have long lead times between when they're shot and when they reach the market, so their release date is taken with a grain of salt. However, it does appear that she's back in the business - she did make an appearance at this year's Exxxotica LA as there's shots of her on Morbidthought's Flickr stream as proof. Tabercil (talk) 15:02, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
She's really close with Joshua and Teagan so she may have been helping them out with the appearance. Joshua is one of the organizers of Exxxotica. Morbidthoughts (talk) 16:05, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that makes sense, especially since her latest Twitter account has this for a bio: "webcam star, retired pornstar of 1000+ scenes, mutiple award winner, penthouse pet June '10..just a goofy, down 2 earth girl w/ no censorship" (emphasis mine) Tabercil (talk) 16:42, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Her second daughter[edit]

We can all agree that she has two daughters by her own disclosures ("I have a family, two little girls") [3] We may also agree that Sylvi is the name of her eldest (with Danny Mountain).

Now she said on her twitter that she has "BOTH names tatted." And this picture [4] clearly shows the name "Lynnea" immediately above the name Sylvi, with the same design and heart.

1+1 = 2.

Lynnea is the name of her second daughter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Redban (talkcontribs) 19:04, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe, but here's a new question: how is the name of either daughter of encyclopedic of any note? I'm going to err on the side of privacy and say that neither name belongs in the article. Tabercil (talk) 22:49, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well if she tattooed the name on her body (particularly a visible spot as her wrist), then she has no issue with others knowing her daughter's name. As for whether or not this info is "enyclopedic of any note," the section says, "Personal life," meaning intimate details are supposed to be announced. If others agree with you, then I'll agree that it should be omitted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Redban (talkcontribs) 23:07, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
