Please can someone explain how the service works?

Direct2Drive not honoring pricing on their site.[edit]

I had emailed Direct2Drive about items they had on their site advertised for a certain price on their home page. But if you went to their shopping cart it was different.

All i asked was they honor the prices shown (even sent them screen captures using 2 different browsers on 2 different items)

and their final email was a $15 credit and no honor at Direct2Dirve.

I was willing to spend $40 on the software and now i have to go elsewhere. I will be Contacting the California Department
of Consumer Affairs and California Office of the Attorney General because their parent company GameFly,Inc. is located in Culver City,
 California.
This is a clear case of bait and switch when a retailer advertises an item at a certain price and say's the price is not as
advertised but is really at a higher price. Retailers have to adhere to this law so do Internet sites. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grimmly (talkcontribs) 21:54, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
