Education and government experience[edit]

I have adjusted the reference to his work with children. Apparently, he did not work in a kindergarten. An earlier edit claimed that he worked as deputy mayor for a decade. A decade is ten years. Walcott began work as deputy mayor in 2002. 2011 did not conclude by the time that Walcott switched to chancellor. Therefore, his deputy mayor tenure is nine years. Updating this page[edit]

This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.

I have a conflict of interest as I'm a PR rep for Queens Public Library and Dennis Walcott in his capacity as President and CEO of the system. I have proposed updates/changes to this page. I believe this is the correct venue for suggesting them and providing references. Would you please let me know if it's not? Can the first sentence of the page include his current role as President and CEO of Queens Public Library? Can his nationality be corrected?
