I've removed this statement:

"Therefore, during its period in power the Colorado Party was considered to be the political party with the longest continuous time in government in the world, as it remained in power for over 61 years (from 1946 to 2008)."

He is right. As cited by this New York Times article "No political party currently in power anywhere in the world has governed longer than the Colorado Party here, not even the Kim family’s Communist dynasty in North Korea."--Jersey Devil (talk) 06:20, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What about the Wangchuk dynasty in Bhutan?
