Arbitrary section title[edit]

1. It does contain a content as it is quite obvious, there is a list of teams mentioned in the article. 2. It doesn't constist only for external links - there is just one external link. The other information is content mentioned above. I don't really understand why this tag was inserted in this page. Will it help, if I include a sentence "Bulgarian hockey league is a leage played in Bulgaria consisting of the following teams:" ? Come on... Yxifix (talk) 20:37, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it would, which highlights the sillinesss of this particular nomination. Happymelon 21:39, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you must admit that all of the wikilinks in this article (the bulk of the article) are red, other than those in the template. You also must admit that the article was composed only of the items mentioned in the speedy deletion notice (interwiki links, external links, etc.) when I put it on the article. I would accept this article as more valid if some (if not all) of the links in this article actually led to an existing page, or if they were simply made not links and kept as ordinary text.

As a side note, Yxifix, the arguments you posted at the beginning of this talk page and duplicated in the actual article (or vice versa) belong solely in the discussion. If people want to see why this article should be kept, they will look in the discussion area; it does not need to be in the actual article.Simplebutpowerful 01:56, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, I put it in the actual article by mistake and when I realized that, I immediately moved it here myself. Secondly, I don't see any mentioning about "interwiki links" in Criteria for speedy deletion. Seems like this is just your own rule, if I'm wrong, please correct me. Also, that's quite ridiculous (not mentioning sentence "...no content whatsoever") if you would accept that article if there are not links to non-existing pages. It has a specific purpose that users are able to create such a link to non-existing page, don't you think? Important is content, not if there are links or not. All right, let me see... I will just point to where it mentions interwiki links in the relevant speedy deletion template. In {{db-nocontent}} you will find, "It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, images, rephrasing of the title, chat-like comments or an attempt to contact the subject of the article...". Like I said, I saw little to no more than that when I marked this page. Next, I do see that you moved your notice before the entire speedy deletion tag was removed by Happy-melon. My apologies if I offended you in any way. Finally, I propose that the list of team names be made not links until the actual pages they link to are created, and/or to create each team quickly and make it a stub asking for help in expansion. That would get rid of ugly red links, possibly install connective blue links, and offer experts on Bulgarian hockey (such as maybe yourself, Yxifix) to create and expand new articles on Bulgarian hockey teams that expand on this topic. If each team has too little information for its own article, this article could be expanded to briefly describe each team. Just a suggestion to be taken seriously.Simplebutpowerful 04:56, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
