General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: QPQ just needs doing now, otherwise article's in great shape. My preference for hooks are 0>1>2, though I wonder if something like ALT3 ... that Japanese Breakfast released versions of their song "Be Sweet" in both Korean and Simlish?" would work just to make clear that they were official versions and not covers by other artists. How does that feel? —Collint c 18:54, 3 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Pinging @Soulbust: in case you haven't seen this yet. Thanks! —Collint c 17:22, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Collin, QPQ is now complete. Also, I really like the tweak in wording you suggested. I think it's better for sure, I was just trying to think of how to wikilink Be Sweet ahead of other possible links in my ALT0. But I prefer the wording you suggested. Thank you Soulbust (talk) 02:26, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Soulbust! QPQ is good and article is ready to go. I checked the hook guidelines and didn't see anything about the DYK article needing to be linked first so if you're happy with ALT3 then so am I. Striking the others. —Collint c 15:03, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Comments[edit]

  • I would add the writers/producers, label, more info about the song's genre, recording process and development in the lead
  • One sentence paragraphs/lines in the article should generally be avoided
  • Add alt text to images
 Not done
  • All refs should be archived
    • Done now as I ran the IAbot through the article
  • lean heavily into → "lean more into", as this is not exactly traditional or mainstream pop
  • two studio albums Psychopomp (2016) and Soft Sounds from Another Planet (2017) → two studio albums, Psychopomp (2016) and Soft Sounds from Another Planet (2017),
  • were markedly noted by music critics and listeners as showcasing lead singer Michelle Zauner's personal grief. → were recognized by music critics and listeners for reflecting the personal grief of lead singer Michelle Zauner.
  • Add 2019 for the recording date in the infobox per the Pitchfork source
  • Release doesn't need its own section as it's only two sentences, so I would integrate it into the background and recording section
  • The track has been positively received by music writers → The song received positive reviews from music critics
  • Combine the two paragraphs in the critical reception
  • The magazine's Cat Zhang → Writing for the same publication, Cat Zhang
  • Zhang continued, stating the song → She felt that the song
  • in March → in March 2021
    •  Done, but seeing how "shortly after the single's release" followed up the March, and the March 2021 release date is aforementioned in article, was wondering if the "2021" was necessary? No real gripe, and fan of the clarification bc it's a different section, just genuinely pretty curious lol Soulbust (talk) 05:24, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • The performance was filmed at the Brooklyn-based venue, National Sawdust. → The performance was filmed at the National Sawdust in Brooklyn, New York City.

  • an 8-track an eight-track
  • What does "an extra tip" for the Belgium chart mean?
    • Chart terminology sometimes trips me up or is silly in a way, but I'm pretty sure it's a reference to Ultratop#Ultratip chart. Kinda similar to the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart in the U.S. Added wikilinks that I think help with clearing that up a bit. Soulbust (talk) 05:24, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
