Merge Ascospore here?

Any reason why the short Ascospore article needs to be separate from here? FunkMonk (talk) 22:22, 2 June 2021 (UTC)

They are each interrelated, but distinct topics. Both have a large body of literature, and a FA could be made out of both with little overlap. Esculenta (talk) 00:03, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

Support merge, as these closely related concepts, the Ascus and its contents (Ascospore) are so closely interrelated that they are best discussed together for context and remove the current overlap. Klbrain (talk) 12:48, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
