Length of military service[edit]

The article states that he served from 1960-1975, which is 15 years, but it also states that he was honorably discharged after serving 12 years. This appears to be a contradiction.Bill (talk) 20:27, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia articles are not meant to give their subjects a Persil shine. They meant to be objective, written from a neutral point of view, verifiable, and uncensored. -- Toddy1 (talk) 09:19, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There is a line in this which says - :He later adopted the name Anna, which in Marathi means "elder person" or "father". Anna means elder brother. There need not be any citation for that. and the word Anna in all the dravidian languages means elder brother. It is such a common word and asking for citation is like asking for word meaning.
