International Broadcasts

Original vs broadcast call out order

While viewing Cycle 4 episode 5. I noticed that it was obvious, that the order that was broadcast, was not consistent, with number of girls standing in both the called and uncalled places. The original callout order, during the filming, was: Rebecca, Christina, Tatiana, Tiffany, Brittany, Keenya , Kahlen, Naima, Michelle, Lluvy, Noelle; but the order that was broadcast was: Rebecca, Christina, Tatiana, Tiffany, Kahlen, Naima, Brittany, Michelle, Lluvy, Noelle, with Keenya never being called. in Episode 2 and 10, there where also cases where the order was rearranged, and I'm sure with careful inspection, we will find the same thing on other Episodes. Should we show the edited broadcast order, or should we show the reconstructed original order? ( While thinking about this, it occurred to me that in both cases we need to rely on original research since we are getting the order from watching the show, not a secondary source. reconstructing the original order also has the problem or original analysis. Does anyone know a reliable source that didn't get it from Wikipedia?) ... Misty Willows talk 04:31, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

All the episodes with edited call-out orders have footnotes, I think it is fine that way.--Whadaheck (talk) 00:18, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
I feel the show editted the callouts for a reason, hence the table should show the one which the general, non-ANTM-fan viewing public would see when they turn on the TV and not go scrutinizing the channel. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! ZephyrWind (talk) 15:11, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
The broadcast never showed Keenyah being called out f in cycle 4 episode 5, should we leave her out of the table? That's seems to make the most sense to me if we stick to broadcast order, but i'm not 100% comfortable with it. ... Misty Willows talk 07:53, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

On a side note, episode 2 of cycle 6, castings of cycle 13 and cycle 13 episode 3 all have edited orders. There are probably many more.--81.194.35.225 (talk) 15:41, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

International NTM colors

Somebody bringing up the Greece NTM situation made me realize one thing. International cycles have yellow for replacements, ANTM has dark green. I think we should unify the colors. Also someone said a color was used for "the contestant was the original eliminee but quit", I think it is fairly pointless, it should be "the conestant quit" (same color as always) and explained as a footnote.

All in all, we'd need: colors for winners, eliminees, quitters, replacements, challenge winners (and multiple wins), fan fave/CGOTW and any combination of it.

Anybody who'd like to share their opinion?--Whadaheck (talk) 00:28, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

I totally agree that we should have the same colors for all the NTM shows. I think the colors should also all fit the color scheme agreed on before - light colors with black text for usual events, and dark colors with light text for unusual events. We should also apply the bolds underlines, merged cells etc the same way for all of them. ... Misty Willows talk 22:41, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

I think it does and it is clearly much more organized that other Top Model pages. 79.107.70.156 (talk)
It doesn't follow the guidelines. Rare occasions aren't in dark colors on the Greece page. Anyways, I agree with the poster below me as far as gold and salmon are concerned. The other conflict colors are fine but springreen isn't a dark color (although a lot of rare occasions aren't listed in dark colors). Then "The contestant entered the competition, replacing a contestant who quit." could be gold. "The contestant was declared as one of the four finalists in the finale" doesn not need a color. We would get:

Gold is a darkgreen doppleganger. Replacements (Tessa, Giselle and all the rest) should be listed at the first panel they attended, not before. From where I stand Salmon is useless, multiple elminees are listed in violet like every other eliminee. Springgreen and Tan are fine.--79.84.98.10 (talk) 19:53, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

@24.251.88.206 The elimination tables have been simplified to include only the following colors:

  •   The contestant won the competition
  •   The contestant was immune from elimination
  •   The contestant was eliminated
  •   The contestant was eliminated outside the judging panel
  •   The contestant quit the competition
  •   The contestant was part of a non-elimination bottom two
  •   The contestant was originally eliminated but saved

Also, there must be another color used to indicate disqualification:

  •   The contestant was disqualified from the competition

Could this work for all elimination tables? J4lambert (talk) 13:11, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

{{editsemiprotected}} gemma ward was NOT discovered on Search For A Supermodel

99.243.49.78 (talk) 06:06, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

I removed this;

Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, commenting on ANTM and Project Runway in the September 2006 issue of Harper's Bazaar, slammed it as "trash that is funny for five minutes if you're with other people. If you're alone, it's not funny. Those girls will never be the next Gemma Ward. There is no justice in the fashion business." Ward was discovered in the similarly-themed Australian reality show Search for a Supermodel, before ANTM aired in Australia in early 2003. Lagerfeld served as a photographer for the French version of ANTM.[1]

This paragraph appears to fail verifiability. The quotation lacks a direct reference (which is required) and the portion quoted in the ref does not cover the facts.

If anyone can add it back (or a modified version) with appropriate referencing, please do.  Chzz  ►  14:46, 16 May 2010 (UTC)  Done

On being "added" to the cast

I wasn't sure where else to direct this question/argument, so I thought it best to ask this talk page, since it seems to be very active.

On the current series/cycle of Britain's Next Top Model, the judges originally intended for there to be 13 finalists. However, host Elle Macpherson claimed that it was too difficult for the judges to settle on just 13 of the girls, so a 14th finalist, Susan, was called to join the main competition. Right now, she is listed in the table in a dark green cell, and the table notes that she was "added to the cast." The color is certainly not unprecedented; it has been used many times before for contestants that were added to the cast at a later date, as was the case with Ren in the latest cycle of America's Next Top Model.

However, I have issue with the idea that she was "added" to the cast, because she was added to the cast about thirty seconds after Alisha was added to the cast. That is, she was not scouted separately, she did not enter at a later date, nor was she a replacement for a girl who quit. Hers was simply the last name to be called. As such, I would argue that there's no reason to list her in a dark green cell. A note can be made below the table that she was a bit of a "surprise finalist," if need be, but her advancement to the finals was really no more remarkable than anyone else's.

The same thing happened with Dominique in Cycle 10 of America's Next Top Model, and I've never understood why she is listed in a dark green cell, noted as having been added to the competition due to a "number opening." Had she originally been let go and later brought back, that would be one thing, but Dominique, much like Susan, advanced to the finals immediately after Anya was called and the girls were subjected to a meaningless spiel from host Tyra Banks on the decision to have 14 finalists rather than 13. Once again, hers was simply the last name to be called.

In neither of these cases is there a need to color the cells, as their cases were not remarkable enough to merit special attention. Ren, as well as Giselle and Tessa from the first cycle of America's Next Top Model, were legitimately added to the cast after the fact, after the other girls had been selected through the usual audition process. This is notable on the table, because none of those girls were present at the semi-finals call-out, so the notation of the dark green cells is merited and useful. Such is not the case for either Susan or Dominique.

The cell color list at the top of this page is a bit atrocious, in my opinion; there is no need to assign a specific color to every nuanced situation of the girls' call-out. Many of the nuances could be easily noted beneath the table, rather than turning the table itself into an eyesore. However, whether or not you agree with me on that, I think we can all agree that the purpose of the colors is to point out situation of particular notability, ones that differ from the norms of call-outs. In the case of Susan and the case of Dominique alike, the situation is completely normal (if a minor surprise to the girls), and to add another color to the table and to the color key is messy, cluttered, and a bit antithetical to the efficient and orderly credo of Wikipedia.

That's my say, but I wouldn't dare make changes to the page for Britain's Next Top Model, Cycle 6 without first asking for others' opinions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.102.128.91 (talk) 04:19, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

User:Ohconfucius notices to remove the girls are still competing is not necessary to put there. [1]. Any thoughts to reverting back? ApprenticeFan work 06:43, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Seasons table

I have been modified the table and What I am saying now is that unless the people were notable before being on the show, very few of them become notable afterwards. Winning Survivor or Big Brother, on the other hand, will attract enough attention. As such, nearly every winner of those shows will have a blue-linked article. Here, save a few people (perhaps, Ann Ward winner of Cycle 15 for example) and doesn't give her on any attention in post-show work and has done nothing. It is not very helpful to take the new format to be cleaned up You can feel to see the seasons table at the talk page archives.

And so, here is the new table format:

Well, I have removed this section above from the article on various reasons: (1) All other eliminated contestants (runner-up excluded) are now seen in List of America's Next Top Model contestants, (2) all premiere dates can be seen in U.S. television ratings section on the article, (3) flag icons per WP:MOSFLAG and (4) re-adding country links (e.g. France). Cycles Chart

I believe that the previous cycle chart has been used for many years and is very easy to read and understand. It also included the flag for each cycle's global destination. I also feel that it should be left as is and not changed. Thnaks. TVFAN24 (talk) 17:50, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

You should ashamed on it, I have to re-modify again and I have posted it on your talk. I have to clean it up. Thanks. ApprenticeFan work 23:06, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

Deletion of contestants' pages

I do believe that many of the ANTM contestants who have their own personal Wiki pages do not deserve to have one, because simply they are not notable besides their participation on the show. Having reliable sources on a page does not make the subject notable, it simply makes the article more reliable. Winners aside, I propose that we discuss for elimination the following pages: 1) Kahlen Rondot 2) Natasha Galkina 3) Samantha Potter 4) Celia Ammerman 5) Raina Hein 6) Chelsey Hersley 7) Jane Randall 8) Esther Petrack Does anyone agree? Can we simplify the call out order tables a bit?

I probably won't get anywhere with this, but hear me out. Honestly, there are a lot of colors & events indicated on the tables that aren't necessary. For example, I don't see why we need to indicate the reward challenge winner or covergirl of the week in the table, or when someone doesn't participate in a photoshoot. And then of course it creates the need for even more colors when there is overlap in these events. The only goal of the callout order table should be to show the call out order. Things like challenge winner, CGotW, etc. could all be listed in the episode summaries. The only colors we really need are:

The contestant was eliminated (Note: this was the original color used before it was changed to violet after Cycle 7[2])
  The contestant won the competition
The contestant was part of a collective call-out with other contestants (including non-elimination bottom twos)
The contestant was immune from elimination
The contestant quit the competition upon being called
The contestant was originally eliminated but was saved

As for quitters, disqualified girls, girls eliminated outside of panel, and girls who entered later/separately from the rest, I think they should just be excluded from the table all together with a bullet at the bottom explaining their further absence. The only exception for a quitter would be Ebony in Cycle 9 who was called but immediately gave up her place for Ambreal. MarkMc1990 (talk) 07:14, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

  • Support this as it would make the table easier to read. Mtking (edits) 07:46, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Anyone else have any input? MarkMc1990 (talk) 20:54, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
Support Makes Sense. Some tables are an eye sore. I think dropping colors will leave less room for debate. I do suggest   crimson for ebony though. Also, girls who are eliminated outside of judging panel can be dropped along with girls who quit/are disqualified.98.206.38.163 (talk) 17:08, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
Support ... for the most part Thank you! I've been hoping for the color system to be simplified for quite a while, and I wholly approve of tomato rather than violet for the eliminees. I have only two things I don't 100% agree with. First, I think the point of the call-out table is as a reference, and it loses something for the girls who are eliminated irregularly (quit, outside panel, etc.) to not be listed whatsoever. Why not include them all as before, but all as crimson? It would be an automatic cue for readers to check the bullet-points to see what happened to so-and-so. My other suggestion is that we don't really need a color for "was the original eliminee but was saved," since that's happened... what, once? Just to Ambreal? It just seems unnecessary. However things played out, her name was eventually called, and she stayed. So, to me, she would just be the eighth name in the call-out order, and Ebony would be under her in crimson, denoting that she quit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.234.134.10 (talk) 04:21, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
I could live with the quitters' names being readded to the bottom of the appropriate columns for cue/completeness sake. My main issue was with the vast array of colors denoting the reward winner/CGOTW/didn't participate in a photo shoot nonsense that had nothing to do with the eliminations. I'm even noticing the tables include bullets informing when girls were disqualified from challenges...what that has to do with the callout order, is beyond me. As for Ambreal, I do think there is something to be said for the fact that for a few brief moments, she WAS eliminated, and special shading would be necessary to explain her continued presence in the competition, but I could also live with leaving her cell unshaded. Although I firmly believe Ebony should remain second to last above Ambreal since that was the actual order. MarkMc1990 (talk) 08:56, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
The issue I have with including anyone not in the call out is that starts to get into the area of original research, it then starts to move more into a pseudo-results table which without good reliable sourcing to secondary sources is a problem, and lets be frank here good sources other than the primary source of the show tape are hard to come by so any interpretation of primary source material (the show) requires a reliable secondary source for that interpretation. Mtking (edits) 10:45, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
First off, I just want to say that I love that this conversation exists. I really appreciate how respectful y'all are, and how well you articulate your points on a subject I'm glad to know others care about. I agree that the color array got completely out of control, and I think a single color for "eliminated for any reason besides a regular elimination" works well. As for the "original research" issue, I don't think this is any further into that territory than including the names of the girls eliminated at panel, whose names also were never called by Tyra. If we're going to be so literal, they shouldn't be included in the table, either; each column should end with the last name called safe. But I think we can agree that as a reference, it's important to be able to see who was eliminated, and it's easily verifiable by watching the primary source show. The same goes for non-traditional eliminations, and the bullet-points would clarify the basic circumstances of each (eliminated at a challenge, quit, disqualified, etc.). Just my two cents! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.9.80.62 (talk) 16:05, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
I want someone to add the challenge wins back in. That is one of the things I look at the chart for. I personally don't mind all of the different colors (I like them actually). The new colors and simplicity does not bother me except for the lack of challenge wins on there. It seriously frustrates me and makes me really upset that someone would change it when there was nothing wrong with it. Please someone change that part back. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cow chick (talkcontribs) 03:22, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Adding them back would defeat the purpose of these revisions. The reward winners are not relevant to the call out order. MarkMc1990 (talk) 05:38, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
That was the whole point of the table to me. I look at it as a mini-wordless-episode summary that I could reference without having to scroll through the entire article to find the episode (especially since the ones at the top are not numbered like the table). I hate the new format without the challenge winners in it. I think it needs to be changed back. It is almost pointless to me now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cow chick (talkcontribs) 00:21, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

Disqualification

Some girls were eliminated outside the judging panel without being called the names, but they were still listed in Call-Out Order Table (??). Personally, I think "eliminated outside" or "disqualified" are in the same case and thus, Angelea should be included in COO in final ep of Cycle 17. The color for the disqualified contestant should be darkred like contestants "elim outside". 1.52.91.32 (talk) 15:10, 28 December 2011 (UTC).

Before we had it as the same colour, but with a strikethrough to denote that she was disqualified, which I think worked really well. However MtKing has taken it upon himself to be the overlord of the Top Model boards and said that she shouldn't be on the table at all "because Tyra didn't call her name", so I think we need to live with his almighty decision... It does of course mean that every eliminated girl also shouldn't be on the tables either as Tyra doesn't ever call the eliminated girl's name... but hey, MtKing is king of Top Model, so it's his call I guess. :) 78.146.105.38 (talk) 21:15, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
What fans have to remember that this is an Encyclopedia and NOT a fan site, so the callout table needs to reflect the callout. Mtking (edits) 23:14, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
I agree with Mt. A lot of the colors tend to overlap at some point. What the hell are we going to do when a girl wins two reward challenges and doesn't participate in the photo shoot and is part of a non- elimination bottom two? We just DON'T need all the mess and colors. The tables look super tacky, and ultimately all the arguing gets the tables removed/deleted. Eliminated/winner/non-elm.bottom 2 & the rare case for ebony is all we need. People will understand why the name is missing with a note. They can't possibly be that dumb. Cheers to whoever came up with the idea btw. CALL OUT ORDER. Call out. I love top model, but all this debate over a stupid name is ridiculous.98.206.38.163 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 02:40, 29 December 2011 (UTC).
Please refer to my suggestion a few sections above, I proposed doing away with all of that trivial nonsense. It seems like there is a lot of support for my idea, so if someone has the time and patience to implement the changes on each season's table, by all means please do so! MarkMc1990 (talk) 04:03, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
I altered the table on the first cycle modeling what has been discussed above, its only three edits on the table, and it can be reverted quickly, so people don't go psycho trying to fix it. I guess we should wait for input before working our way up though, this could spark a lot of anger. It looks a lot better now in my opinion. I also noted the reward challenge winners in the episode summaries. 98.206.38.163 (talk) 18:27, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
It looks much better. Someone should do Cycle 10 to demonstrate the full difference. That cycle's table is the worst with the most overlapping colors. MarkMc1990 (talk) 08:24, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
Done. And this time it's a single edit on the table (i used the sandbox beforehand)... Guess we should wait and see? Most definitely a major improvement/upgrade.98.206.38.163 (talk) 18:51, 30 December 2011 (UTC)otiv
I am noticing the Cycle 1 table hasn't been reverted yet, but we can't seem to get the new Cycle 10 table to stick for more than a day without being reverted. I wonder why that is. Anyway, this discussion has been going on for weeks now and not one person has objected to the proposed changes, I say we take the plunge and convert all the tables. At the very least, it might get the people who disagree with the changes to come here and post why they don't like it, although I'm thinking they have been assuming the new tables were the product of vandalism (of course without reading here first). Trafalk09 (talk) 21:52, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for taking the time to make the conversions, they look a million times better than the tacky and multicolored ones with the unnecessary trivia. I hope to see them implemented into the each cycle's articles very soon. MarkMc1990 (talk) 08:40, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
All to hell with flies!!! What you have not arranged the previous call-outs???!!! KIRILL95 (talk) 09:03, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
Even mark the contestants who won the reward challenges. KIRILL95 (talk) 09:23, 7 January 2012 (UTC)

I like them, but I still think we should have the quitters. I know it was a different case, but as Ebony is included it would be more uniform to include Cassandra, Kimberly and Ondrei in their respective tables too.78.144.253.151 (talk) 21:09, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

As I have said before, if they took no part in the callout then they should not be in the callout table, if you are proposing a change to a results table then in principal that is something I could support providing a independent reliable source could be found for it as creating one based on just watching the show would be a work of original research and that would not be acceptable. Mtking (edits) 03:36, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
      • This is the most stupid 'conversion' or change i have seen yet. how do we know who won the reward challenge or who was eliminated outside of panel without having to check every name of the contestants in the whole cycle to see who it is. i am all for keeping the original tables intact, they are alot easier and more understandable to read. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.176.192.220 (talk) 01:37, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
  • Maybe remove "The contestant was Covergirl on this week"? KIRILL95 (talk) 11:32, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
This conversation was a bad-faith editing, totally unnecessary edits and thanks to User:KIRILL95 reverted the edit. ApprenticeFan work 08:26, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
How on earth was this bad faith editing? A consensus was reached for the sake of making the tables more sensible and easier to read. MarkMc1990 (talk) 09:24, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
Well, it was User:KIRILL95's fault and decided to restore the old call-out order color box. He did not really understand and accept the new consensus. ApprenticeFan work 09:45, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
I am not sure I understood you. Which edits are you saying were bad faith, the conversion to the new tables or Krill's reversion to the old ones? I took it as the former. MarkMc1990 (talk) 09:56, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
The bad faiths you were talking about was Kirill's. One of the contributors gave the final warning to not disrupting the call-out orders in cycle articles. I have support the new format as Trafalk09 did back earlier this month. ApprenticeFan work 10:10, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
  • I want to apologize for the return of the old call-outs and delivered to you inconvenience. I'm very accustomed to them. Now on the new call-out orders. I think it's better to return all contestants in the table, who "quit the competition" and "eliminated outside the judging panel" (including Angelea and Amber). The tables look unfinished. KIRILL95 (talk) 14:28, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
I agree. I appreciate that the tables look much much better now than they did, but they are supposed to be a summary of each contestant's performance throughout their time on the show. It looks at the moment that Ondrei Cycle 16 (to take an example) was called out 7th in week 1, then just disappears in week 2. There really should be a colour to denote that she quit the competition that week, and hence did not take part in panel. I understand she wasn't called out by Tyra, but I don't think the note underneath the table is enough to denote this. Same with all the other quitters and eliminees outside of panel.136.8.33.71 (talk) 15:28, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
  • Yes. Especially some contestants who quit the competition she participate in the call-out (Kimberly and Ondrei). They said the reasons for which they want to leave. Although Cassandra quit the competition in a photo shoot, she must be in the table too. KIRILL95 (talk) 19:05, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
They are called "Call Out Tables", as I have said above if you want to change them into a "Results Table" then we need good reliable secondary sources, otherwise we get into WP:OR issues, and as any form of sources for ANTM are hard to find, it is not worth it. Mtking (edits) 21:59, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
How about if we put actual footnotes in the table? For example in Cycle 13 we could put one next to Amber's name and that would be the cue for the reader to read the note at the bottom that Amber quit and was replaced by Lisa. This would prevent the OR issue that adding the quitter's name to the call out table would bring. 24.12.102.41 (talk) 05:23, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
Amazing! The table looks so much neater now without all the jarring colours (I especially didn't like the CGOTW colours; thought they were pointless). I agree that only factors which influence elimination (such as immunities) should be reflected and not the above-mentioned popularity contest. However, may I offer my 2 cents' worth? I personally feel there should be an indication of whoever won the reward challenge as well as girls who did not take part in the photo shoot as these affects judging, and the purpose of the call-out is to see how the girls stack up against each other when all aspects of the week is taken into account. Having said this, since we have done away with boldings and italicization, why not we use these to indicate reward winners and/or girls who didn't participate in photo shoots? What do you think? ZephyrWind (talk) 11:24, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
The reward winner doesn't really affect the judging...look at the previous version of any table, the reward challenge winners are called all over the place in every position from first to bottom two to even eliminated with no rhyme or reason, so it is not as if there is a trend of reward winners typically earning high call outs or anything. Though I wouldn't be as opposed to merely bolding their name or putting an asterisk next to it or something as I would be with giving them their own color. MarkMc1990 (talk) 17:59, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
What you say is true for most cases, but there HAS been cases where a girl's callout was affected by her winning a challenge. I can't recollect too many now off-hand, but some instances would be Cycle 1 Episode 1 (Ebony's reward win edged her for first call-out over Elyse), Cycle 7 Episode 12 (Eugena was kept despite a poor photo because the judges appreciated her winning the week's challenge) and Cycle 10 Episode 7 (Stacy Ann would have been called lower [possibly bottom two) if she had not won the go-see challenge). I'm sure there are others. Anyway, could I suggest maybe we underline or bold such winners? ZephyrWind (talk) 09:36, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
I second underlining or bolding the challenge winners. I am also not in favor of removing quitters or other special case eliminees. One more color for them and a footnote explaining the specifics wouldn't be so bad, would it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.87.115.55 (talk) 14:45, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
I also support to reinclue the quitters and reward challenge winners but also the late additions to the cast (such as C14 ren). this way the table has been much much simplified, which is a good thing but it was overdone a bit. nobody understands why a quitter simply disappears or why another girl isn't called in the first episode.

Shameless (talk) 22:07, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

Problem with that is the need for a WP:RS to show everything, because if we include those not in the actual call out, we need to change the table name to "Results Table" and to avoid any WP:OR issues, it will need to be fully sourced to non-primary WP:RS which for ANTM are hard to find. Mtking (edits) 22:23, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
I don't get it. The table were the way they were for years and WP:RS never was an issue, so why did it become one all of sudden? And on top of that it appears that most of the people here are in favor of the old table. If it is an issue of too many colors, then just bold the challenge winner instead of coloring it. Plus doesn't WP:RS apply to the whole article? Cause virtually nothing is sourced, why not blank the page while you're at it? All in all old call-out > new call-out.83.114.164.155 (talk) 16:25, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
  • I really don't understand the problem with an indication of who won the challenge in the table. I find it a lot easier to see who won challenges each week in the table then having to go and read through more of the article. I really do prefer the old tables anyway, but I for one would really like an indication of challenge winners and I do agree with everyone else about an indication of girls who quit the competition. This really pisses me off. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eagle2ch (talkcontribs) 10:29, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
I totally agree. This change was the worst one possible. I absolutely despise it. Ever heard the saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."? I will encourage people I know not to use Wikipedia if pointless, idiotic changes continue to occur. Well, I am off to advertise sites that offer information in a convenient manner and ask of my friends to do the same. --Antmelouairtvg (talk) 02:38, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
