Ambiguities?[edit]

This might be too in the weeds, but it seems to me that there are at least two distinct meanings of 'acting' in the legal context.

Temporary actings, who are serving in someone else's place; and
Agents, who are acting – potentially on an indefinite basis – on behalf of someone else.

Should we address both in this article? At the moment, only the first meaning seems prominent. AleatoryPonderings (talk) 15:02, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think the hatnote is a fine resolution. The agency sense would never be found outside of a phrase indicating that the subject was acting on behalf of another. BD2412 T 15:17, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Interim" or "Interrex"?[edit]

At the section "See also" in the article, it is probably better to mention the term "Interrex" instead of "Interim". -- Hamid Hassani (talk) 20:00, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
