French?[edit]

Why French is added as one of the official languages of ASEAN? Jumark27 (talk) 06:02, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Map of ASEAN countries is incorrect[edit]

In the quick facts section, there is a world map with the ASEAN countries highlighted in dark green. In this map, Papua is highlighted dark green, but it is not an ASEAN country. The map should be corrected. Wmcoco (talk) 11:32, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Additional note: The maps under the headings "Member states" and "Relations with other blocs" similarly include Papua incorrectly. Papua has ASEAN observer status, as does East Timor. East Timor, in contrast, is not highlighted as a member state in these maps. Wmcoco (talk) 11:41, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am not sure what the quick facts section is, but the Member states and Relations with other blocs maps appears correct to me. CMD (talk) 02:54, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies. You are correct, I withdraw my above comments. (The quick facts section is the pulldown information section - the information is first revealed when you click the downward arrow - near the top of many Wikipedia pages.) Wmcoco (talk) 11:23, 24 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Map of ASEAN is incorrect[edit]

East Timor is highlighted in dark green despite not being officially a member yet. Proximaprotogen (talk) 16:56, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

East Timor does not appear to be green in any of the maps at the moment, please check if clearing your cache helps. CMD (talk) 02:15, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Someone must have changed it after I posted that I comment Proximaprotogen (talk) 11:08, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate your observation. It seems there might have been changes made to the map after your initial comment. CMD suggests clearing your cache to see if that resolves the issue. If the map is still showing East Timor as dark green, it could be a technical glitch or a recent edit by another user 207.96.13.213 (talk) 18:58, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ASEAN member list is outdated[edit]

There are many countries omitted from the list 2402:E280:4116:299:CB6:C6D8:4D23:FC81 (talk) 15:12, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
