Flick knife incident

Has it been established what actually happened? Seems like everyone has a different version of the story to me. Ozzy says it was just a switchblade comb, Geezer says he was just playing around with the knife and not threatening him, and what precisely were the circumstances that led to AC/DC being thrown off the tour? It's all a bit he said, she said. My edit that "accounts of the incident differ" was reverted without a satisfactory edit summary. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 00:20, 13 April 2024 (UTC)

I was reverting for a MOS-type edit but also didn't mind removing your initial portion, because if it was alleged then "accounts differ" didn't seem to add anything. As for what happened, basically Black Sabbath was a bit too rowdy and tipsy compared to the hard work ethics of the Youngs, and Geezer Butler was drunk out of his mind sitting next to an already bothered Malcolm Young. Geezer was either a jackass for flicking something at Mal or just his drunken state was enough to flick Mal's switch. Regardless a really tense altercation happened, tense enough to drop AC/DC from opening. I thought Mal would wipe the floor with Geezer but that was kinda it. There's two Classic Rock refs and a Blabbermouth ref where the relevant sentences are. Carlinal (talk) 17:52, 13 April 2024 (UTC)

There is a man named Simon Hury in the member timeline listed as "fan." This is ridiculous, he is not a member of the band. JohnnyPStevens (talk) 15:28, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

I don't see a Hury in this listicle nor the article whose talk page you're in, what are you talking about? Carlinal (talk) 15:35, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
Not done: Name not in this article. - FlightTime (open channel) 16:29, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
What are you talking about...? Hury is not listed in the article at all? ― VAUGHAN J. (t · c) 00:31, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
I'm not sure what you mean. I checked earlier today, and I saw no mention of Simon Hury in the member timeline. HorrorLover555 (talk) 02:24, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
