A. C. CuzaAlexandru C. Cuza – No reason not to use his full first name, Romanian Wikipedia page is titled this way. Super Ψ Dro 00:30, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nomination. Cuza's entry appears in ten other Wikipedias and only one of those — Norsk bokmål — uses the main title header "A. C. Cuza". The remaining nine including, as has been pointed out, his native Romanian Wikipedia, use "Alexandru C. Cuza". While he was certainly known as "A. C.", the use of "Alexandru C." does appear to be predominant. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 02:34, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Evidence, including this ngram, would appear to suggest that his most commonly used name was A. C. Cuza. Other Wikipedias' usage is not binding on English Wikipedia usage, where WP:COMMONNAME is important; maybe it isn't so important on other Wikipedias. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:43, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. What other Wikipedias call him is completely irrelevant and no other evidence has been offered. We have our article naming policy which is based on our (English) language, and they have theirs which may be based on their language or any other community consensus there. There is some evidence above in favour of the current name, but even without it there should be no move without relevant evidence in favour of the move.
