Confiscation[edit]

News today is, that this building has been confiscated by the US, although it appears another court appeal may be possible. However, it needs to be explained why this property did not go through the tribunal: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran%E2%80%93United_States_Claims_Tribunal

While of course it is illegal in the US and Russia to operate NGOs as fronts for some government, it remains strange that this building's case was not settled in a tribunal that was set up for precisely such cases. 121.209.56.202 (talk) 06:54, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Odd mentions[edit]

Perhaps Biden is worthy of a mention in this article, but this appears quite odd (just cut from article): "Most recently, Joe Biden's brother James Biden, and also his son, Hunter Biden, have been conducting business out of the 17th floor of the building. Susan Schmidt, Steve Stecklow, John R. Emshwiller: Stanford Had Links to a Fund Run by Bidens, The Wall Street Jornal, Feb. 24, 2009." How is a 2009 source good for a 2015 claim of "most recently"? Not sure what to do with this, but perhaps a bigger issue for the encyclopedia is that an article for the Pahlavi Foundation does not exist, and I created a wp:redlink for that in the article. I also trimmed extraneous information here, not that I'm against colorful language here, but this is an article about a building after all: [1]. Biosthmors (talk) pls notify me (i.e. {{U}}) while signing a reply, thx 20:03, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
