:Thanks for responding. I can tell you one thing about Sbaio is he is narcissistic with his edits. It doesn’t matter if you have some facts to reveal if an achievement was made or an important league milestone was reached, he will reverse your hard work like a pile of trash. He cannot be reasoned with. Trust me, I’ve had my fair share with his reverts.

:I would suggest reporting him if he is a pain to deal with. Even little trivia facts you add, he will wipe it off with the snap of his fingers! About the vandal comment, it was merely assuming it was just another vandal, but now that I’ve heard your side of the story, I can see you were only adding facts. Back them up with some sources from NHL.com or elsewhere though, because it is only a matter of time before this issue is laid to rest. Good luck. ::Thanks very much homie for your response and kind words toward me. It’s about time someone takes my side for once when I try to get character witnesses to vouch for me cause no one has done so except you so good on you for doing the right thing rather than be a little coward like most editors I’ve asked. This has been going on for a couple months now and yah I hope he gets blocked sooner rather than later and I get my original account unblocked. I usually wouldn’t say this type of thing but his behavior is completely unacceptable and Wikipedia should be a place that is welcoming and inclusive for everyone and no one is gaslighted when they try to explain themselves after one reverts their work. I might consider reporting him soon but idk since when I tried to explain this when I tried to appeal my block, the administrators at Wikipedia continued to play the victim blaming game by saying it was me so not sure how much my effort would help given how multiple people are already upset with me. Soft people like him are a perfect reason why we can’t have good things nowadays and people like him need to be taught a lesson. I will take some time to think about your advice and we’ll see what I decide. There are multiple other users that have acted like this the last 3 months too but he has been by far the biggest pain with him abusing his power. Thanks again for your support. Greatly appreciated and keep up the good work you do yourself! December 2012

Hello, I'm Gtwfan52. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to History of the Seattle Seahawks seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Your additions to this page were at least in part, your opinion. Wikipedia only reports on what others have written in reliable sources. Please reference any further additions to reliable sources. Thank You. Gtwfan52 (talk) 07:05, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I certainly do respect your good intentions, but it still remains that you have to pull your information from sources, not from your own knowledge. If you read some of the links someone kindly left you back up at the top of this page, there will be some guidance found there for how you need to go about doing what you are trying to do. I will also leave you a link to a question and answer forum here on Wikipedia where you can ask questions pertaining to how you go about editing on Wikipedia. Thanks for your desire to contribute. If you follow the guidance that you have available, I trust that warnings like you have above will cease.Gtwfan52 (talk) 07:27, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to So Random!, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. 117Avenue (talk) 05:03, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Seattle Seahawks may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of 3 Day Test, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.echolight.com/3daytest/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Empire News

Please actually investigate sources before adding them. Empire News clearly state they are a satirical site. There's also the date, July 18 of this year. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at McDonaldland, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Diffs: [1] Unsourced analysis and content. Adding unsourced content and tagging it as unsourced isn't particularly helpful. If you have access to the source, please add it, otherwise it's presumed to be original research. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:26, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I don't make stuff up. And FYI, McDonaldland has very few references anyways. It's true that they stopped using sets in the mid-90s. Check out YouTube videos of McDonaldland commercials, and you can tell what is a studio set and what is real life.Marino13 (talk) 20:34, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't disbelieve you, and I'm sure you have good intentions, but unsourced content is of no long-term benefit to this project. If you add content, please be prepared to support it with references, as was communicated to you in 2013. Note also WP:BURDEN. It's nothing personal. Disambiguation link notification for August 31

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015 BC Power outage, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Blackout. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Yogi Bear (film) are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. A tag has been placed on File:Ariana Greenblatt.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 2601:194:380:1320:F1B9:C484:E63B:9997 (talk) 04:40, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No, I won't challenge it. Too many policies regarding the uploading of photos. May as well stay away from it. Ironic since I see copyrighted photos everywhere yet I can't upload such photos. Marino13 (talk) 03:32, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Isaac Ryan Brown, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. For the NBA playoffs, the lead is very short and the TOC appears near the top. By putting the NHL back, you've got a long lead and you have to page down to get to the TOC, or particularly the bracket.

Under Wraps (2021 film) moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Under Wraps (2021 film), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please do not perform unattributed article WP:SPLITs

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Chicken Girls into List of Chicken Girls episodes. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. --IJBall (contribstalk) 12:18, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edit

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Free Britney movement, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. KyleJoantalk 04:27, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Concern regarding Draft:Ruby Jay

Information icon Hello, Marino13. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Ruby Jay, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.

If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 05:01, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What you tried to do here was at best sketchy, and at worst a base example of Gaming the system. Do NOT try something like this again. You had a draft that was declined at WP:AfC, and rather than work to improve that one, you tried to (re-)create an article in mainspace (a worse one) a second time. Try something like this again, and I'll have no choice but to look for sanctions – along the lines of suspending your article creation privileges. Consider this a friendly, but final, warning. --IJBall (contribstalk) 00:12, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I’m creating the page because no one else is making the effort to. I’m looking at various sources to make sure that page stands. The movie premiered no more than a year ago, and it’s a shame I have to do the workload. Marino13 (talk) 00:16, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That's often the way it is on Wikipedia (and why I personally, have evolved away from doing much article creation – it's very time-consuming to do it right). But that doesn't excuse abandoning an existing (but rejected) draft, and trying to "recreate" the very same article while pretending that your original draft (that you authored) doesn't exist. As I said, doing stuff like this repeatedly is likely to lead to sanctions and/or a loss of some editing privileges. --IJBall (contribstalk) 00:22, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
For the record I overlooked that the article was under a draft. Most articles I attempt to create are hardly ever drafted, and quickly abandoned after a period of time. Regarding this matter it won’t happen again. Marino13 (talk) 00:26, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Super Nintendo World (Hollywood section) pictures

Greetings Marino13, You're...clearly upset about me removing my own integration of the nighttime pic from the article, so let me explain why I did that:

-I thought that small section of the article (Hollywood) only needed 1 picture -Someone else re-added the 2nd daytime/construction pic, thus cluttering up the Hollywood section with 2 pics. Since someone else really wanted that daytime picture back in the article, l gave them the benefit of the doubt, and let their pic be the sole image of the Hollywood section.

So, I can add the nighttime pic/my caption back to the Hollywood section, and when more photos of the SNW areas *do* get uploaded, I'll be happy to make a proper Gallery section. Sound good?

Sincerely, SMT153 SMT153 (talk) 13:35, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for understanding! Apologies for any potential misunderstanding or confusion with this situation. I'll promptly make the changes as I described.

Date format at Vladislav Gavrikov

I saw that you changed date formats at Vladislav Gavrikov with this edit. There is WP:DATEFORMAT, which lists the accepted date formats. In addition, there is also WP:DATERET, which quite clearly says not to change date formats for no apparent reason (which is what you did). Therefore, your edit summary was misleading so please read WP:SUMMARYNO. Your edit has already been reverted and I just wanted to explain it so this could be avoided in the future when you make edits. – sbaio 14:38, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Most articles have the month before the day, so your reason for telling me otherwise is ridiculous. Just look at all other articles here on Wikipedia. Marino13 (talk) 18:47, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You should look at those two policies that I listed, because you are clearly unfamiliar with them. In addition, it is always good to look at the page you are editing and see what date format is preferred there. You should also read WP:CIVIL, because your tone is rather WP:UNCIVIL for no reason. And your edits on some pages are also WP:POINTY, which is bad faith to say the least. – sbaio 20:49, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Only trying to help, I thought the point of an article is to expand and include as much info (and sourced if possible) as can be found. But it is apparent my edits are not acknowledged on some articles. Marino13 (talk) 20:53, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jenna Davis

Information icon Hello, I'm MikeAllen. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Draft:Jenna Davis ‎, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. A reliable source is mandatory for a date of birth. WP:DOB Mike Allen 18:12, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

My bad. I thought it was common knowledge. Also, I did state a reason, saying her birth date is known. Either way, I am looking for a viable source to support this statement. Her draft may not be complete until she becomes more notable. Marino13 (talk) 18:14, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Date Format Ludicrousism

Information icon Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Adrian Kempe. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.

For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Next such change ignoring WP:DATEFORMAT, WP:DATEUNIFY and WP:DATERET will result in you being reported at WP:ANIsbaio 03:48, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Prior to these changes, I already attempted a petition to change the dates to a certain format. Some users were against the idea, which left me very surprised at their responses. Also, I find the idea of reverting certain edits of mine merit-less, and this version of the Wikipedia encyclopedia being based in the U.S., don’t you think it’s nonsense to have it one way and not like this: MM/DD/YYYY. Seriously, how often do you see the dates reversed a certain way? Marino13 (talk) 04:49, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And FYI, if you look at the article's history way back before 2017, it uses a MM/DD/YYYY format, so think about that. Whoever decided it was a good idea to change the dates is clearly not from around this part of the world.Marino13 (talk) 04:55, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia involves collaboration between people from all over the world. We have to get on. There have been many battles in the past where people tried to apply their personal preference in articles. That has been extremely disruptive and WP:ENGVAR is one of the results. Please ask at WP:Teahouse for other opinions on what should happen. Meanwhile, anyone who repeatedly contravenes WP:ENGVAR will be blocked. If there is good reason to believe that the date style in an article should change, start a discussion on the article's talk page and wait for consensus. If none, start an WP:RFC. Johnuniq (talk) 05:49, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I guess that’s what I will have to do. I may not be able to apply that metric on all articles here, but it’s worth a try. Let’s see what happens. Marino13 (talk) 06:19, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Marino13! As a fellow North American, I understand your confusion/frustration with the date formats. It was a bit confusing for me when I started. However, while I would prefer we spell everything the Canadian English way, I have to follow consensus and policy. The same applies for dates. The reason that Kempe is formatted like that is because he is Swedish, so we follow the Swedish format. Can you clarify what you mean by I may not be able to apply that metric on all articles here. What will stop you from following the format? HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 02:57, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The NHL is a North American based sports league. Although many hockey players come from several different backgrounds and countries to play there, we don’t want confuse fellow readers with why the day and month are typed out differently than what they’re used to. The "metric" I am referring to is the date format, since there are only so many articles to look over and I don’t have time to see all of them. Just because some articles have their date layout a certain way, doesn’t mean it’s the right way. Marino13 (talk) 15:28, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You are really WP:NOTGETTINGIT. You have already been told at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers/Archive 162#Petition to have dates start with the month, followed by the day to get familiar with MOS:ENGVAR, MOS:DATEFORMAT, MOS:DATEVAR and stop with American exceptionalism (which you showed more than once). And you should also stop with personal attacks (accusation) like in this edit summary. – sbaio 15:44, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I’m leaving the dates alone since it’s creating a problem here. However, I don’t appreciate you reverting my every edits on Wikipedia, it’s almost like I’m being watched and harassed every time I make one edit. I’m just contributing to an article, not making a spoiled book. Marino13 (talk) 15:47, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There are plenty of pages to point out the rivalry between the two teams. Just look at NHL.com and there are plenty of sources there and elsewhere to prove that they are rivals!Marino13 (talk) 06:50, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I was only submitting it to see if there may have been some things about it that worked. But I say time and time again, the sources are there. Marino13 (talk) 22:12, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Those sources were not enough to establish that a notable rivalry exists. If the article failed at AfD for that reason then re-submitted without improvements that address the issue then the draft is of course going to be declined. Simply stating "sources exist" is not enough. Reliable sources that help to establish this should be added to the article. Hey man im josh (talk) 13:42, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your addition of an unsourced date of birth to Sarah Rose Karr. In addition to Wikipedia's basic principle of citing sources (Wikipedia:Citing sources), a special need for citations applies with regard to elements of a biography of a living person (WP:BLPPRIVACY). Feel free to add a date of birth when it is accompanied by a citation to a reliable, published, non-primary source. Eddie Blick (talk) 21:26, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That will be tricky, but I’ll find a reliable source for a birth date. Marino13 (talk) 21:49, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, finding birth dates can be difficult, especially for living people. Be sure to avoid public records (such as state birth indexes), which cannot be used as citations for content in biographies of living people, and user-generated websites (such as IMDb), which are not reliable for use as citations in any articles. Anze Kopitar edit

Hey Marino13 how are you? I would like to ask you some questions if you don’t mind. On the Anze Kopitar article, I added some milestones that were initially neglected to be mentioned about how kopitar’s 300th goal in 2019 and first playoff goal in 2010 but it got reverted by sbaio. And how I changed one of the headers to Selke trophy and captaincy instead of later career since he is still playing. Can I ask, who were you referring to when you said vandal? Was that me? If it was can I explain the fact that wasn’t my intention. I changed Later career to “Selke Trophies and captaincy” because Later career doesn’t make much sense since kopitar is still active and within that time span he did win 2 selkes which is a major award in the nhl. The last couple months, I have had a feud with that sbaio account and whenever I try to explain myself to him, he either ignores me or says to me “stop wasting everyone’s time” or “stop with the endless rambling”. These comments and behaviors are very disheartening cause I thought those edits like the ones mentioned above were good sentences and edits worth saying and it is frustrating to see everything get erased. I don’t know if sbaio is just power hungry and wants to be in control by abusing his power or if he actually legit thinks those things are irrelevant but seeing him revert everything I say is draining to see. I can tell you know a lot about the kings so you know kopitar is not retired and is still active so it doesn’t make sense to say “Later career” right now. I hope to cooperate with you and hear back from you at your earliest convenience because I would like to reach an understanding with you. Thanks and please hear me out and hopefully we can talk it over before one of us reaches out to him.

Sincerely Ethan 2601:40D:8281:F3C0:D031:D222:1F5D:DC61 (talk) 03:23, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for responding.
I would suggest reporting him if he is a pain to deal with. Good luck. Marino13 (talk) 18:50, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks very much homie for your response and kind words toward me. 2600:1007:B0A1:E997:EC93:C4CA:3367:8341 (talk) 03:15, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
