You changed the wording from:
"in development by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) and sub-contractor BAE Systems"
to
"developed between Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) and UK's BAE Systems"
How is that from the entire source, what you brought to Wiki was just "developed between"? How is this an improvement for you to edit war over?
It's a bad faith edit to make it look like it is a joint venture, which it isn't. You also removed the specific "sub-contractor" wording for no reason as well which is what BAE systems is in this case. You should've checked the inline citation, [6] which explicitly states that "The Kaan was developed between Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) and Britain’s BAE Systems, as part of a $125 million (£100 million) deal signed in 2017." FoxtAl (talk) 12:02, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
$125 million contract is nothing when it comes to developing a 5th gen fighter whose cost is in tens of billions. It is the project of Turkish Aerospace Industries. It's not a project of BAE nor they have any rights over it.

No objections, I've been watching the page and was considering re-protecting myself. @Nthep: Did you accidentally paste a previous response into this request as well as the others? This looks like the only page that you protected. (By the way, pending changes does not seem to be very effective for problems due to unsourced changes because PC reviewers sometimes approve unsourced edits because they aren't blatant vandalism. Forrest Galante

Reason: Repeated edits by users citing negative opinion pieces to include criticism of Galante as if it were fact. Galante's career credentials are repeatedly removed and have to be repeatedly reinstated. Blogs by uncredentialed outlets criticizing Galante have been cited as the basis for erroneous, borderline slanderous claims rising near to the level of vandalism.

In summary, this article should be protected because it's the biography of a controversial person which is repeatedly edited to adopt a more negative tone, sometimes against established fact and Wikipedia's own policies. Ravenandadove (talk) 03:30, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
