Gothic Slam was an American thrash metal band from Jersey City, New Jersey. It was formed under the name Stryker in 1984, but the name was changed in 1987. Gothic Slam released two studio albums. Just a Face in the Crowd was produced by Rob "Wacko" Hunter from Raven. According to vocalist Dan Gomez, the band broke up due to lack of management and financial success.[1]
