Years in topics[edit]

I've added some redirects like 1745 in archaeology. Is this use appropriate? 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 16:35, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To editor 1234qwer1234qwer4: we now see that editor SMcCandlish asked this question back in February on the rcat template's talk page. I see nothing wrong with this as long as the redirect does target an appropriate decade article. I shall make the clarification in the template's documentation. @Paine Ellsworth: Hmm, maybe we should better create a subcategory (like Category:Topical redirects to a decade) as this one could get really crowded from what I found and the archaeological redirects are already making this quite a mess (as completely different epochs get mixed up). 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 18:29, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
