Template talk:R to decade

Template:R to decade is permanently protected from editing because it is a heavily used or highly visible template. Substantial changes should first be proposed and discussed here on this page. Scope?[edit]

Do we want this used on topical articles? E.g., a redirect from "2017 in underwater basketweaving" to "Underwater basketweaving in the 2010s"? If this is not desirable, we should probably say so clearly or someone will use it that way.
