The 2025 Aurora mayoral election will be held on April 1, 2025. Incumbent mayor, Richard Irvin, is running for a third term as mayor. Primary elections are set to be held on February 25, 2025.[1]

Background

Richard Irvin was first elected in 2017 with 55% of the vote.[2] He won re-election in 2021 with 54.17% of the vote.[3] He announced his campaign in August 2024.
