Zahos Hadjifotiou

Zahos Hadjifotiou (Greek: Zάχος Χατζηφωτίου; 28 September 1923 – 30 September 2022) was a Greek journalist and writer.[1][2][3]

Biography[edit]

Hadjifotiou was born in 1923 in Plaka, Athens.[4] His family has hails from Psara. After 1824 Destruction, they settled in Syro and later in Athens.In the Second World War, he took part in military operations and was decorated.[4] He was married to Tzeni Karezi.[5]

Between 1956 and 1962, Hadjifotiou worked as a director in a publishing house in Paris.[4]

As a writer, he wrote for Greek newspapers, Kathimerini and Tachydromos.[4]
