RomeshD created a biography for Senani Ponnamperuma which was recently deleted at AFD. Senani Ponnamperuma is apparently the owner of the two website listed above. A majority of RomeshD's edits involve adding links to the websites. It appears to me that this editor is here only to promote the two websites and their owner. My question is: are links to these websites suitable for either listing in external links sections or use as references? Or should they all be removed as spam and/or self-promotion? Today this IP 59.177.43.26 was spamming this link in Wazir. I searched for two hours, going through the differences to track this user Tihomv. The IPs are probabaly related to him. I am The Avengers. This is my alternate account. Please blacklist this and reduce our work. As i mentioned above with my previous account; new Bollywood sites pop out from Mumbai. You haven't even handed out a single warning. The onus is on you to try and stop the spamming first before admins get involved. MER-C 18:22, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Onus? I don't have ten hands and five laptops. How many vandalism and Spam can I deal? I have also my personal life. 1-They must be warned according to 1,2,3,4 levels.2- They must be tracked. 3-Then they must continue after warning. 4-And we must also remove the spams. Don't exaggerate. I only hand out two warnings maximum per user/IP, then block, then blacklist. Also, the IP socking may not be intentional -- ISPs in that part of the world may give you a new IP address every day or even every edit. It takes all of ten seconds to issue a warning, and it might actually work. MER-C 20:51, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

The pages state that "Indiancinemas.in is an Indian online portal founded by Sibin M.B and Paulvin Paulson", which would explain the two usernames. I found these user talk pages in external link search.In 2013 two users were blocked for spamming movietalkies.com. Later on some of the sock/meat puppets managed to spam them in large number of articles. Every month new Bollywood website comes up in Mumbai and the best way to promote is spam in Wikipedia as it's free advertisement. Please blaklist this as removing all of them is a time-taking affair. The website is not opening in my browser. And the website has no mention in third party reliable sources. If they remain in popular pages for sometime, then other innocent user might believe it's a reliable link and use the website for reference.--The Avengers (talk) 10:12, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

@The Avengers: Yes we all know Bollywood sites pop up here often, but you need to demonstrate that this particular site is an ongoing problem by having recent diffs and spammers in order to get it blacklisted. MER-C 14:26, 3 November 2015 (UTC)

This new user has suddenly taken an interest in American Civil War battlefield preservation (diff 1, diff 2, diff 3), historical sites (diff 4, diff 5, diff 6), and local points of interest (diff 7, diff 8, diff 9). Normally I would applaud a new user who's contributing information but as one can tell from the diffs, the user seems dedicated mostly to inserting links to colonialghosts.com. The editor's most recent edits seem to be deletion of the google+ site associated with the tour group (diff 10, diff 11, diff 12), but it seems the user is here primarily not to build an online encyclopedia, but to add advertising to one. For my part I have reverted every insertion by the user and have added escalating warnings to the usertalk. To AllieAbroad's credit, the user hasn't added anything back after my level four warning. There may be nothing for this board to do right now, but I wanted to file a report in the event another new user decides to take a similar interest in inserting the Colonial Ghost website to SE Virginia area pages. I'd like to get some other input. I noticed this user spamming a ton of articles with boxofficeflops.com. I did a mass revert, but still see some 50 articles in need of purging. Site looks like a typical blog. Nothing at WP:RSN about this site. This is not a site that anyone typically uses for box values. Feedback strongly requested. I have warned the editor since he seems verrrry singularly focused. I'm happy to help with the cleanup, but I wanted to get some other feedback first.   • In view of the apparent conflict of interest, together with a statement which appears to be intended to imply no such COI, I have blocked the account. Otherwise, I would have taken the view that, since the editor has not added any links since being warned, we could wait and see if any more came.   • I have checked a little over half of the 49 links mentioned above (I have removed some, and the number is now less than 49). Of the ones I checked, the substantial majority were placed there by Jglucks. Of those that were not by that editor, almost all were from either 24.177.240.32 or Dancedom. I have no reason to suppose that either of those is linked to Jglucks, and I shall post to their talk pages suggesting that boxofficeflops.com is an unreliable source. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 10:58, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

Looks to have been a personal website of some repute of a Jim Zwick as the Smithsonian references it here but he seems to have died in 2008.
