Dan Schneider comeback?

Following up from this brouhaha; it looks like he might be trying to make a comeback. The above account just restored a "criticism" section in Mr. Arkadin which was nothing but a quote from DS. Its also noteworthy that this account has linked to him in the past. [3]. Eyes should be open on the articles that have been spammed in the past. ThemFromSpace 23:04, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

What is reasonable?

This recent edit seems reasonable, but it adds three more links. The spammed site is Chinadialogue and it looks extremely reasonable. WP now has 131 links to the site – that seems unreasonable. Any guidance? Johnuniq (talk) 04:02, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

I had a look at the last dozen on en linksearch. I removed four, mainly because they were 404 and redundant. However, several others looked ok. User Wilsonave has not been active for a year. So I would say this is ok. Johnuniq (talk) 04:23, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

User is knowledgable and made a small improvement to one article, but I think apart from that the user is a WP:SPA who is promoting some commercial sites. It's somewhat subtle because information is presented on the link targets, but the commercial aim of the site is obvious. A link to familytreedna.com was removed in this edit with a summary indicating that the site gives an obnoxious message if cookies are blocked. Also note this blog/advert by the user in a trial article.

I would appreciate an opinion on whether the above is linkspam (it seems clear to me, but what if linkspam is subtle, as in this case). Johnuniq (talk) 02:43, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
