I suggest that we use the program's title graphic (which is tagged {{PD-textlogo}}):
David Levy 07:38, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It is an idea, David, but I'd worry that people would think the article is about House, not an episode of the programme. I would probably support the image of Laurie, since people would likely instantly associate him with House. wackywace 16:45, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, Hugh Laurie is definitely the way to go. Modest Genius talk 17:03, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'd go for the David Shore image. He's looking right, which is appropriate for a TFA image. And I find Hugh Laurie's eyes just scary in that image! I'm sure there would be complaints if that were staring out at six million readers! (see recent debates about Jimbo and the fundraising banner) Physchim62 (talk) 17:15, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No one knows who David Shore is and will not associate him with House. I'd support the graphic or Laurie. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 17:56, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you all for your input. I'm putting in both the graphic & Laurie (with Dr House's scary eyes). --PFHLai (talk) 08:42, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, your call! I'll remember to have my teddy bear beside me tomorrow to protect me from the scary man! Physchim62 (talk) 16:17, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Picture[edit]

That's probably the worst thing I've ever seen on the front page. Nice work. Theodolite 17:34, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The image was removed from the article per the discussion on the talk page. It should be removed from here too. —Noisalt (talk) 20:17, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Offending image has just been removed. --PFHLai (talk) 22:51, 24 November 2010 (UTC) I meant "from MainPage". --PFHLai (talk) 01:11, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What would people do without an article on the first episode of House?!?![edit]

Wikipedia is such a joke. No wonder nobody takes you guys seriously. --96.48.13.234 (talk) 07:18, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, what exactly is your objection to Wikipedia having an article on this topic? It manages to include where the idea came from, how it was filmed, how and why certain characters were cast, the reaction from professional critics, and a reasonably short plot summary. In the absence of paper restrictions (a'la Britannica) and with editors interested in writing on this topic, why should we not have this obviously encyclopedic article?
